Sake from Nagano is usually hard to come by. Today, I dropped by Kyoto Daimaru, and I got a bottle of this brewery's unpasteurized sake at an event! I had a chance to taste it and I️ was impressed by the way the aftertaste went down, even though it had quite a punch. It's 17°, so it's best to have it chilled and on the rocks.

18% alcohol by volume. A glass at room temperature. The first thing you notice is the smell and taste of alcohol, which is a result of the high alcohol content. There is a feeling of being caught. At the end, there is a spicy taste. Bitterness is also there.

Dry. Fruity aroma. A touch of acidity. There is a horn of alcohol though it is hidden by the aroma. The umami is there. It has a solid impression.

I bought it in a store sale of a certain department store. Is it about the first time in two and a half years? The rice used is unknown. I drank the fire-retarded version of this before, and it was a similarly punchy sake. Rather than being rich, it is full of alcohol. Rather than being fresh, it's full of energy. The aftertaste is crisp and tight with a slight bitterness. As the day went on, it became a little milder and the flavor of the rice took over. Yoshinoya's sake is stable, and I like it a lot.

When I drank it cold, it was crisp and easy to drink, but when I heated it up, the sweetness suddenly came out and it became even more delicious. 🦅 I love sweetness that is not sticky and smooth😃.

A local brand of Nishinomon? It looks like. I was going to go through with the look, but the reviews seemed to be good, so I bought it. It's high in alcohol content and has a strong alcoholic feel, but the aroma is grape-like and has a tender sweet mouthfeel. It tastes even better than I expected.
