Tastes like
This sake is a nostalgic - for me. It has been decades since I have had this sake.
I remember being impressed by how tasty it was when I first drank it.
Now, it is not as impressive as it used to be.
But that is why it is so easy to drink and tasty for its alcohol content.
The fourth Higashi Rikishi brand, this one is Orikarami!
The unripe brand of Azuma Rikishi is relatively light, but this one is a little more drinkable and sweet!
This one is also very much to my liking! Plum crystal and yam as a side dish!
Purchased on recommendation of a liquor store on the approach to Nikko Toshogu Shrine.
The top clearings of the orikara are fresh, and mixed with the orikara, the sweet and sour taste is delicious!
We enjoyed it very much!
Today's third East Rikishi, the freshly squeezed sake is very light, in contrast to the aged sake! It has a faint scent of muscat.
There was also a collaboration product from Chuzu Tabi, but I'll get to that one (since I haven't opened it yet) some other time.
Daiginjo 10 year aged version
The flavor and aroma became fuller and better matched with cream cheese!
The balance was just right for the level of maturity. (The 20 year old version has a more matured taste, and I personally liked the 10 year old version better.)
Visit the brewery for tasting and purchase!
This sake is the base of the brewery's long aging process in the caves.
I liked it because of its well-balanced aroma and drinkability!
Limited edition sake made with a special method of nigori (gorilla nigori)
Low alcohol and extra thick mellow 🍶.
Feel the fluffy sake lees
A must for amazake lovers 🤤.
Polishing ratio 70%.
Alcohol content 10 degrees
Clear and colorless, with aromas of cooked rice, pear, and honeysuckle. The attack is rather strong, the acidity is mild, the sweetness is mellow, and the finish is rather long.
