This is a gift from a friend who went to visit 88 places in Shikoku 🙏.
I'm not a big fan of nigori (cloudy) sake, so I went with heated sake 😁.
It's like amazake with alcohol and it's delicious 😋.

Sake brewed by a sake brewery in Saijo City (formerly Toyo City) with rice produced in Ehime Prefecture (Matsuyama Mitsui, Shizuku Ehime).
That alone is enough to pass the test!
It is dry and strong. It is very drinkable.
It is a sake that goes well with summer!

We returned to the Yomiuri Shimbun booth again.
We tasted "Yamato Kokoro" which we hadn't tasted yet.
I have seen Takeda's "Ehime Ichie" before, but this was my first time to taste "Nihon Kokoro".
The brewing water is from the "Uchinuki" spring in the Ishizuchi mountain range.
Ehimeichikai" is a new brand launched by Shozo Takeda, the head brewer of the brewery.
Nihon Shin Michi Junmai Daiginjo
A well-balanced, high quality sake with sweetness, umami, and bitterness. It has a little bit of a tang. I think it would have been better if it was chilled.
The label is a chic black and white horizontal stripe, I don't know what kind of sake it is😅.

Purchased at Harrods. Although it is labeled as dry, the umami flavor is quite apparent, and the drinkability seems to be acceptable even for those who are not fond of sake. No bad taste at all.
