The mellow feeling typical of sake comes first, but it disappears without lingering.
It is also good that it is slightly fizzy. It feels like it is dusting on the tongue.
Although we are in the midst of a self-restraint on drinking, I had a drink outside secretly in the name of a social gathering with seniors who I have not seen in almost a year and younger employees of the branch office.
After drinking beer 🍺 and ordering the all-you-can-drink sake (about 40 kinds of sake) for ¥2,500, we went out to drink 🦬.
However, being the organizer of the event, I can't get drunk today, so I'll savor it at a slower pace 😊.
First, I chose Fukutsuru's Ginjo Koshu. An old sake sent out by Fukuda Shuzo in Hirado, Nagasaki.
Hirado is my mother's hometown and I used to visit there a lot as a kid.
But my only impression of Fukuda Shuzo was that their main product was potato shochu💦.
However, it is very popular among Nagasaki shochu these days (ranked No. 2 in Nagasaki by Sake-no-wa), and I've been wanting to try it someday.
But the first choice of old sake... 😅
Let's taste it right away ❗️.
The aroma is like an old sake, reminiscent of whisky 🥃, and the color is just like that of aged grains.
But in the mouth, umami, bitterness, and pungency are not so strong, and a gentle sweetness spreads slowly.
The sweetness, somewhat like a noble sake, is irresistible👍.
It was a sake 🍶 like a veteran actress whose performance has become more and more polished with age.
Hello Haruei Chichi😃!
I don't have an all-you-can-drink sake shop near me, so I'm jealous 😍 40 different kinds is amazing 👍How many drinks did you have?
I bought a set of one Yogo bottle and five 1-sho bottles that I didn't know the contents of until they arrived. This is one of the bottles.
I was told to be careful when opening the bottle, so I opened it after it had cooled sufficiently. It has a sweet and savory taste with a hint of shuwa-shuwa.
2020.12.19 Okoroji again🌷.
This time, with shellfish sukiyaki... 🐚
I like the aroma. I'm not sure what to make of it.
I think women will like it, I like it!
I bought this local sake when I traveled to Nagasaki Prefecture. The label looks like New Year's. It has a slight sweet and sour taste of rice. It's a delicious sake.
It is a sake from Hirado, Nagasaki. It seems to be a pure sake that is heat-treated right before shipping.
It's supposed to be a sweet sake, but it's not as sweet as the Saga sake I'm used to drinking.
I think it's good for eating too!
Fukuzuru from Fukuda Brewery in Fukuda! The one with the pattern where the cap is a boar! These bottles are usually screw caps.
It's gentle all the way down your throat, and while it's less assertive than the ordinary sake I drank yesterday, that's probably why it doesn't stay on the palate!
I sent the Nagasaki beauties and Gearman home, so I'm looking forward to seeing them when they get home!
June 21, 2020 Opened.
Buy at the Nagasaki Pavilion in Nihonbashi
Sour and sweet tastes are blended in good balance, but I feel the sour taste is stronger than the sweet taste.
It goes well with stewed dishes with sweetness, such as Chikuzen-ni and Kakuzen-ni.
