Bullet❗️Yamagata Day Trip Drive🚙💨③
We were able to visit La Jomon and
and Satoya, which was the most important goal of this trip, and
Two missions completed☑️
Now, the next mission...
If we came all the way to Yamagata, we had to make a pilgrimage to a sacred place ☝️
Our goal was to visit the brewery of the Fatty Generation.
But you know what?
Dora had a lot of missions before we got there.
(Sake shop tour)
So all my sightseeing requests were rejected... 🙅♂️
I was rejected...🤷♀️⤵︎
I bought a bottle of Hanabayo's "Silk" at one of the many liquor stores we stopped at.
I'll have a glass of Hanabayo's "Silk" ✨🥂✨.
Mild ginjo aroma
When you drink it
It has a thick and mellow mouthfeel
Sweet and fluffy
It is full of umami.
In the latter half, the sourness comes from the umami.
Then it finishes with a kick.
After swallowing, the chest is chilled.
If you combine it with pear
Hmm? It was a bit salty and sour!
When I combined it with Satoya's "Tamayura"...
It's so good 😘!
I loved this pairing 💕
By the way, "Tamayura" is...
A famous Yamagata confectionary "Noshibai" made with white bean paste and agar, topped with Japanese raw chocolate.
Very delicious 🥰.
For lunch, I had a quick ramen (ramen).
Good evening, Tsubu 🦉.
Bullet drive, sake activities are awesome ❣️ and there are a lot of rare looking sake 😆 They all look so delicious 😆 It's so quintessential~!
The ramen and gyoza also look delicious😻I'm starving 🤣.
Tsubu-chan😊Good morning 🩷Good trip 🩷‼️ sake made my trip to Japan many times more enjoyable👍
You nailed it with the pear pairing 😯‼️ looks interesting & delicious🥰Tamayura is also recommended to pair with sake ❣️
Hi Tsubu-chan. I'm amazed at Dora's ability to get information on Yamagata, where there are so many missions. ‼️ Sadoya was at a sake event in Osaka the other day and I paired it with Ukishima. I also bought some Noshibai and it brought back memories of how delicious it was 😋.
Good evening, Tsubu 😃.
A car seems like a fun way to get to different places 🥹.
I agree that instead, there are many missions to get to the holy places 🤣.
I learned a lot from your recommended pairings 📚.
Pon, here's another 🙏!
The drive was hard 🚙 without any sightseeing 🤣 it's fun though 😜♪ I had to try this "Silk" which was a bit expensive but I had to try it 😙I'm glad you had Sandesi 😊The ramen looks good too 😘.
Good evening, Pekho 😊.
I enjoyed the trip chasing sake 😆♪ I heard Kumagai-san said pear goes well with malo at LaJomon, so I tried other sake 😙 but tamayura is good for this sake👍!
Good evening, Hirupeko!
Dora-chan's mission is to stop by every liquor store she researched for "that sake" ☝️🤣 Speaking of Ukishima, Wagashi Kaorufu's... sounds delicious! I'm curious to try it together 😘.
Good evening, Hiro-san😄.
I saw that Hanyo Masamune at about 3 stores 😅I couldn't afford the silk 😅but the silk was expensive too 💧Next time you are in Yamagata, please visit Satoya and try the Japanese sweets to go with the sake 👍I recommend Tamayura.
Sande Series (4)
Yamagata Sake again 😂.
This is Hana Hanyo from Koya Sake Brewery in Okura Village, Yamagata.
We've had it in the past, and we also had "Silk" when we visited Shinjo ✨.
As for the taste,
I didn't really notice the aroma.
The sweetness of the graininess spreads a bit on the palate.
Overall, it was light, refreshing, and clean 😄.
I felt that the sake alone was not enough, but I enjoyed the refreshing taste as a food sake.
Purchased at the Yamagata Antenna Shop in Ginza.
A modest and subtle ginjo aroma.
Slightly aromatic, yet smooth and firm sweetness.
It is light, but has a deep flavor with a firm body.
I paired it with saikyo-yaki Spanish mackerel.
It is characterized by a calm ginjo aroma reminiscent of fruit and a refreshing mouthfeel. It has a sweet and slightly tangy taste.
Serve with grilled sweetfish with salt and pickled wild vegetables
☀️
I went to the Yamagata Sake Fair 🤗.
It's raining unfortunately ☔️
Rain outdoors is a pain in the ass😅.
First, let's start with Hanabayo.
◾️Hanabayo
Clean, sweet, slightly bitter, but easily swallowed and tasty without any peculiarities.
◾️ Hanabayo Kinu Daiginjo
Sweet and smooth on the tongue 😋.
The sake seems to float fluffy on the tongue.
It has a rich aroma and fills you up with just sake 😊.
◾️ Hanabayo Kinu Junmai Daiginjo
This one is also sweet and smooth.
The same fluffy tongue on the tongue.
It has little fragrance, but there is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste and fullness in the flavor.
I could tell the difference between Junmai and Alten 🤗.
Both are worthy of a beautiful sake 🥰.
Hi Hiro 😃
Oh, you are going to Yamagata now? Now you're going to Yamagata 🥲, it's really nice and easy to visit 👍We've been saying we want to go but we haven't been able to 🥲.
Bishu Prefecture 😍great!
Good evening Jay & Nobby 😃.
I enjoyed my time in Yamagata and I recommend it 😆 In case you're wondering, I'm planning to go to the sake event in Oyama tomorrow 😁I wonder if J&N and others from Tochigi Kenmin Kai will be there? I'm a little nervous 🤗
