National Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part75
Gunma 6
Mr. Takai in Fujioka City!
I think they had closed their brewery for some reasons and were shipping out their stock, but I saw on SNS that they have started brewing again. I see that they have also released a draft sake.
I drank a bottle of nama sake about 4 years ago when the warehouse was already closed, so it was a slightly matured one.
Polishing ratio 55%, domestic rice, 15 degrees, Sake degree +2, Acidity 1.6, 1401 yeast?
1747 yen
I thought it would be matured, so I was disappointed with its clean taste and no sense of maturity😅.
I wonder if there are any liquor stores far from Takatsuki station or south of Kyoto station 🤔.
Iwao Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo Nama Sake [Gunma Prefecture Takai].
Sharp melon sensation with a hint of sweetness. Lingering bitterness. Flashy and flamboyant.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 17 to 18 degrees Celsius
Water used for brewing: Ayukawa subsoil water
It is a light nigori 26BY of Iwo 🍶.
First, cold sake.
The top aroma is that of old chests 😂.
In the mouth it has a hint of sweetness, but the aroma of old chests is strong😅.
Next, warmed sake 🍶.
When warmed, it smells like wet wood 😌.
In the mouth it tastes a little acidic and the taste wasn't bad.
Like the Chiyomusubi I had two drinks ago, nigori-style sake is said to be unsuitable for aging because the nigori part of the sake is altered and causes off-flavors.
So well, it was interesting to experience that firsthand 😂✨️
Hello, Matsuchiyo-san ☀☀☀
Smells like an old chest 🤣.
The Iwao is closed for storage so it's precious 😆 I wonder if it will be revived 🤔.
Go drink some Gonohyu 98BY today 😁.
He said that Hasegawa and Sake Merchant Fatty are the root of all evil.
Well, they lose their individuality, don't they?
I've been thinking lately that Hasegawa has influenced Masamune and they've been forcing their products.
Souvenir sake from a trip to Gunma🍶.
It has a gorgeous, fruity aroma, and the taste has a strong first impression, with a flavor that spreads a delicious mouthfeel and a slight acidity that lingers in the aftertaste.
