Moriguchi Keihan Department Store Sake Festival (15)
I have the impression that Minakata was good to drink at the brewery festival. Seen it recently at Sake no Yamamoto 🤔.
[Minakata super-harakuchi Junmai-shu].
I asked for a standard one and this was it. Mild on the palate but with a spicy aftertaste.
Minakata Junmai Ginjo
Refreshing, but with a delicious flavor. It is more delicious than the one we had before.
This sake won the "In a glass of wine" award.
The label on the shoulder says "limited brewing," but it only has a certain number of tanks and has never been sold out.
The price tag was wrong, and the small bottle was the same.
Kishu Gojumangoku Honjozo, Dry.
A classic standard. It has a strong sake flavor with a hint of acidity.
Minakata is the brand launched by the current president, while Kishu Gojumangoku is the brand of the current chairman.

I have an image of Sekaiichi-Tsumari as a major brewery in Wakayama, but I guess they are not as well known in the south as Kido and Kurogyu...
I have not seen them at liquor stores recently, and there were many points of concern, such as the lonely lineup of only three kinds of sake this time.

Super-harsh Junmai Sake
It is indeed super-harsh at +15, but there is a hint of sweetness, so it's not really very spicy.
Junmai Ginjo
A little refreshing, but with a hint of sweetness and gorgeousness. It was quite good.
Kishu Gojumangoku Honjozo Dry
Quite classic, but gentler than super-spicy.
I bought a Junmai Ginjo that was nice.
I noticed something the other day when I was looking at a post from Minamikata at Sake-no-wa.
I'll get to that later...
The last one today is this Nanpou.
It is a sake with a bitter taste!
It has a ginjo aroma and sweetness, but thanks to this bitterness, the inside of the mouth feels clean and refreshing!
Also, it goes well with the Harizushi sushi!
The sushi with takikomi-gohanai wrapped in takikomi-gohanai seems to take away the remaining aroma of sake at the end.
Finally, we were able to take the chin-chin train!
I really wanted to ride an old train...but it is best to ride a train that is running well!

The last day in Wakayama on a business trip. Looking for a local sake that I had never had before, I CHOICE this one! The aroma is light and soft with a hint of sweetness 💜.
The first attack is also a delicious sake with a gentle fruity mouthfeel, then the sweetness and spiciness mix together and disappear. ☺️
Today's snacks are hinepon, pickled cucumber and burdock chips! We will only enjoy the hotel. ‼️

The brewery is said to be the family home of Kumagusu Minakata, and you can feel something of the rich nature of Kishu: ⁉️
It is said to be super dry, but when you put it in your mouth, the sweetness comes first, and then it moves to crisp and dry with a deep image.
It was perfect with solid fish such as tuna and bonito. ‼️
Walking tour of breweries 2
Today, Kaorin and I took a compensatory day off together for a little early summer vacation 😀.
We stayed overnight in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, after yesterday's Kido rice planting, and this morning we went to Dojoji Temple in Gobo City, which is famous for Anchin Kiyohime's Kabuki theater, and Toushi Shrine in Tanabe City, which is said to be the place where Benkei and Kumano Suigun joined forces 😀.
After I finished my visit and came back to Wakayama, I walked to the brewery Sekai Ittoku near Nankai Wakayama-shi Station 😀 My main attraction was the brewery's limited edition Minamikata Sake.
I was looking for the commemorative Junmai Daiginjo by Minakata-san, which is only available at the brewery 😀 I was not able to sample it.
I didn't get to taste it, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I get home 😇.
At home, I immediately drank the peach liqueur I bought with it with soda, which was very tasty with the soft peach taste combined with the carbonation😇.
The commemorative limited edition sake from the brewery is something to look forward to at a later date 😀.

The spiciness and bitterness you feel as soon as you put it in your mouth. It happened to be the last sake to finish this time, but the aftertaste of Minakata might be too strong for the sake to be drunk after this one, and the flavor would disappear 😅.
Still, I have had quite a few of these so far, and they were quite a gut-punch.
