It has been a while since having Yakitori in Kamakura. This off the list suggestion was offered when asked for a dry type. Too easy to drink, definitely dry, not much nuance.

Juicy, sweet, sour and fresh, just like juice 🍹.
The faint bitterness at the end finishes it off crisply ^ ^.

Sour and refreshing entrance.
In the middle, a light graininess and umami.
The aftertaste is pungent, astringent, and sharp.
My favorite type of food sake.

Tonight's sake is a Junmai Ginjo Kyokushin +20 from Minakata in Wakayama, Kishu, purchased for the first time in a long time at a familiar liquor store.
Fruity and sweet sake is good, of course, but I also like this kind of dry sake that gives me a big thump (laughs).
