American who used to live in Japan and still gets to visit for work somewhat frequently. Have always enjoyed sake and shochu but looking to learn more.
A really delicious, smooth sake - my favorite of the ones I tried in Fukushima!
I wanted to drink this before the year was out. What a great way to remember my trip last year!
You can really taste the cedar’s earthiness glowing through the floral notes of the daiginjo. Delicious!
Tried in a trio of sake to enjoy the differing flavors.
Wet stone, pear, apple, rich and delicious! I love this one.
Drinking it in my Yamorido glass after bringing it back from my November 2024 trip to Japan.
Peach and pear and wet stone - delicious!
I drank this from the beautiful cup I got in Toyama. The sake itself was brought back from Niigata in November 2024. Gotta love sippable memories!
Smooth and subtly sweet. Drinking straight and used in a Clarified Mezcal Milk Punch that I can’t wait to try.

Not actually sure when I drank this but I’m pretty sure I drank it with Grace and Eddy. I remember it being floral and refined, not surprising considering it’s a JG!
