On the Shinkansen returning to Tokyo from a trip back home.
This is a sake from the Amanohashidate area purchased at Kyoto station.
It has a low sake content and is very smooth to drink.
The 501st post is the second Izakaya Shinkansen 🍶🚄🤗 as I was in Kyoto from yesterday to today.
This time I paired it with pickles and mackerel sushi. I also visited a sake brewery in Fushimi 🐟🍶 so I drank a cup with this sake cup 🍶🍶.
The color is slightly yellowish. The aroma is grain-like, which is typical of sake. In the mouth, it is smooth and crisp with a slight bitterness.
First, it is served with shiso seed pickles. The shiso flavor, saltiness, and acidity go well with this sake. The sake goes well with it 😁.
Next, with mackerel sushi. The meaty mackerel flavor adds to the umami taste. This also goes well 😍.
And the shiso seed pickles will refresh your palate. The loop has begun 😍.
Kyoto was fun ‼️😇
