Tomita Shuzo, a long-established brewery in Shiga Prefecture that has been in business for about 500 years since the Warring States Period, is a brewery that has been in business for about 500 years since the Warring States Period.
Named after the seven young warriors who led Hideyoshi to the top of the world, the Seven Spears of Shichihon-Yari at Shizugatake, this sake is said to be popular as a good-luck sake.
It is interesting to note that there are various Shichihon-yari throughout Japan.
The rice used to make this sake is Tamasakae, a locally produced sake rice. It is grown completely without pesticides.
In recent years, all sake breweries have been using enamel tanks for ease of management, but in 2020, they resumed the use of wooden vats for brewing. Kinowa was created with the image of "circulation" to pass on tradition and technology to the next generation.
The label's stylish design is based on the motif of a wooden hoop.

Fresh, elegant and refreshing sweet and sour.
Refreshing bitterness, fresh and balanced flavor
Fresh and well-balanced umami.

Yummmm, yum!
This is at Hasegawa-ya, where we stopped by after visiting Iwamuro for the first time in a while.
It's a very fresh, well-balanced taste.
This is the first time in a long time that I stopped in Iwamuro. (You can't buy it in Aizu...)
Thank you.
The day when the world cup was ended wonderfully...
Niigata, the snow is so bad...
I shoveled snow in the morning, but it kept on shaking in the afternoon.
Even on the plains, it piled up ridiculously...
It hasn't stopped yet...
I managed to get home after standing in line for 3 hours for the bus...
I'm dreading the morning, but I'm teleworking tomorrow.
I'm afraid of the morning, but I'll be teleworking tomorrow, so I'm giving up my rest day to drink... I'm so tired! Yum!

Nechi Oyama, a freshly brewed yukimi-shu from Watanabe Sake Brewery, which also runs a domaine.
On the way back from the band practice in Iwamuro.
The snow had settled and the mountains were beautiful. We had a hard time in the morning, but...
My first visit to Hasegawa-ya. It's a fun place with a pretty good selection. It's a bit far to go, but I'd like to stop by again.
It has a fresh mouthfeel and a mild but crisp, light and dry taste.
It has a soft and thick taste as if it were raw sake.
It has a bitter taste, but it also has a refreshing sweetness.
It's delicious...!
I drank so much that I don't even remember posting it, but it was the 76th brewery in Niigata Prefecture.
