This is the first sake I have had in a long time. I have a connection with Akita, and I like to drink it, but to be honest, I don't need "snacks" with this sake! It is a sake that you can drink easily. It is refreshingly delicious!

We had it at a nearby izakaya. Nara is the birthplace of sake (various theories exist). That alone makes me want to drink it... I really like sake and sashimi together, so I chose Junmai again this day. It is a little bit peculiar, but it doesn't leave a strong taste, so it might go well with meat dishes...

Although there are more opportunities to drink Kyushu sake in the Kanto region than there used to be, I always order it when I can find it... Slightly sweet, yet crisp, this sake is a perfect match for white meat sashimi!

Everyone loves "Saku" I haven't had a chance to drink it very often, but finally I did... It's a great drink! It goes perfectly with seafood! On this day, I tried it with grilled oysters and had a blissful time.

A chance discovery! I took my time and drank it with cherry sea bream sashimi. It went well...well! A great, reasonably priced sake from Yamagata that goes well with sashimi.
