It is a sake that made some kind of set. The izakaya I often go to, which is a place that promotes "Shiki", had it in stock, so I had high expectations for it.
The aroma is mellow, but it also has an interesting rummy feel to it. I think the alcohol taste is refreshing.
The mouthfeel is mellow, similar to Shiki. The water quality is also smooth, and it feels sympathetic to the soft water of Laughing Season.
However, the second half of the bottle has a completely different character and is dry, with a rich and bitter taste that sharpens up.
I think it will go well with food if it is chilled and served as a mid-meal drink 👍.
Good morning 😃
The naming made me think of a gorgeous sake 😅.
I personally think it would taste better if it's more of a flowery or cold sake than a snowy or cold one 😋.
Drinking out series
Hakusetsu Hime by Watanabe Shuzo brewery in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture.
So minor that the brewery is not registered? I wonder...
I was able to come across it after last year, though.
It is slightly sweet and has a short aftertaste.
It seems to be easy to drink by itself without any side dishes.
It's good for after-dinner drinks.
Fresh apple-like aroma. In the mouth, chili green apple, fresh sweet and sour of muscat. If you don't have low alcohol like this, you may be a little concerned about the alcohol taste, but it is delicious.
Watanabe Shuzojo, the brewery. (I couldn't find it in the registration).
It is quite refreshing for an unfiltered unpasteurized sake. The aroma is a little bit grainy.
It is a very good sake for the first drink.
This is my first experience with an aged but unpasteurized sake. It has a mellow and beautiful aroma of aging. The mouthfeel is very refreshing, with lots of minerality and a crisp dry taste, but in the second half the umami spreads. It is not a trendy sweet and savory sake, but it is very beautiful and delicious. Pair with Japanese food.
It was recommended by a good looking liquor store and was brought to the bar attached to the bar. Smooth and suitable for drinking in a wine glass, but with a good taste of rice and alcohol 👌
