Timeline
うしまどI couldn't forget drinking at Ginza Taruhira in the past. On a visit to Yamagata, I visited a sake brewery. There was no modern, clean store, and as I peeked in front of the office, the brewery owner beckoned me to come in. The office was an old office desk with a fluorescent light hanging from it and no decorations at all. The cynical person is more attracted to such a brewery. Turning around, we saw an old glass case filled with bottles from the brewery's lineup, all of which were a bit faded. Taruhira-san used to produce such a wide variety of bottles.
After talking with the brewer, I bought a few bottles of Hatsu Shibori and Sumiyoshi Gin, which were the last remaining bottles.
Then, we went to Yukimukae. It was my first time to drink Sasanishiki. It is rich (18%), sweet and robust, but easy to drink. I am also looking forward to Sumiyoshi Gin. うしまどThe old-fashioned Ginza Taruhira. Visiting Taruhira Sake Brewery on a trip to Yamagata. The lineup of Taruhira sake is displayed in a glass case in an office with a fluorescent light hanging over it. I bought the few remaining bottles of Hatsu Shibori and the standard Sumiyoshi Gin.
So, the first Shibori. This is my first time with Sasanishiki. It is rich and sweet, but not too heavy, so you don't get tired of drinking it. It was said to be good on the rocks, but it was consumed in no time at all. Thank you for the sake.

ラル大佐Purchased at a local liquor store.
This liquor store has a tobacco point card that allows you to earn points when you buy cigarettes in bulk. You get 1 point for every 4000 yen, and 30 points are worth 1000 yen in gift certificates to this store. It takes about 9 months to accumulate points, which is a better rate than PayPay!
I basically only buy liquor at this store when I have accumulated points. The ¥1000 discount on liquor is huge!
Now, Taruhira. This is a minor brewery.
The top-tasting aroma has a classic sake feel with a hint of citrus.
The mouthfeel is gentle, contrary to the image of rough-running sake. It has a slight sweetness and citrus-like acidity without any gasiness. The aftertaste is a mild sake-like aftertaste. The finish is a continued acidity and characteristic bitterness. The lingering bitterness is long and full of adult flavor!
It reminded me of the bitter adult perfume I smelled as a child. I learned that there is such a rough run.
This is the sake cup I've been using lately. I love the beautiful blue-white color of the lacquer on the glass. I bought it in Aizu last year.
Thank you very much for your hospitality! りゅうぱぱHi Colonel Lal ☀☀☀.
Classic sake is good for you again, it's inspiring in many ways 🤔.
And the rumored glass✕lacquer sake cups 🍶The lacquer is more intense than I imagined and the color is very beautiful 😲. ラル大佐Hi Ryupapa 😁.
You're right 👍It's not in vogue right now, so on the contrary, it's fresh 😊.
This glass is made by a glass studio called Suzuran in Aizuwakamatsu, and the texture and color are superb 🤘. YamachanThe third Yamagata sake is "Yukimukae" from Taruhira Shuzo. It is a pure sake made from 100% Sasanishiki produced in Yamagata Prefecture. We had it at home with a bento box lunch box with minced chicken that we bought at Yamagata Station. Light and dry. boukenI bought a cup of sake from a brewery I don't usually buy from at the sake corner of the Kintetsu Department Store.
Taruhira Shuzo has an image of heated sake, but the sake was clear and light, and could be served cold without any problems. It is an easy-drinking cup of sake that does not feel too spicy or sake-like.
There is no ginjo aroma and it does not taste like a daiginjo.
It has a delicious rice flavor and a unique and distinctive taste.
I would like to try the Yukimukae namaishu that was sold at the Hankyu Department Store's Sake Brewer's Festival. HeroyuiPurchased at the Yamagata Antenna Shop in Ginza.
It is a Junmai Daiginjo made by Taruhira. Unusually, it was purchased immediately.
It is a junmai daiginjo, but it has the feel of rice that is typical of junmai sake.
It is a quintessential Taruhira.
It is a ginjo, but it has a unique flavor that makes full use of the individuality of the rice.
It is a sharp version of Taruhira's character.
It is not a so-called fruity, modern Junmai Daiginjo, but it is delicious. さなDRice used is Dewa Sanzan
Speaking of Taruhira, "Sumiyoshi" is the most popular sake in my opinion.
It was a sake often seen at liquor stores and bars. Naturally, I used to drink it often.
This is my first time to try this brand.
It is light and easy to drink, just like "Arabashiri".
The freshness of the sake and the tangy taste is like a slightly carbonated sour.
It is clear and has almost no peculiarities, so it is a delicious sake that can be enjoyed by everyone. ❣️
おかゆMelon aroma.
Sourness comes at first, and soon it is dry.
Goes well with miso soup.
300ml ¥590- (tax included) yoshi。Brilliant and crisp taste
The only sake brewery in Kawanishi Town. 鎌倉在住屋久島犬The smell coming out of my nose is like tatami mats in a nice place! (That's a good analogy.) さとしSake Memorandum🍶.
Taruhira Shuzo in Kawanishi-machi, Yamagata Prefecture
Yukimukae Namaiginjo Dewa Sanzan Sake Degree +5
The gorgeous aroma of Dewa Sanzu spreads and cuts cleanly. Not too sweet and doesn't interfere with food!
Umatto!
武藤 健史At Lebert Zao Onsen Lebert Zao. Dinner time.
It is refreshingly dry and seems to go well with sashimi.
The employee told us that the name comes from an anecdote about a person who drank this sake when it was not snowing and the next day it snowed! There's history in the name! しょう5 An ordinary sake without much character. Not bad at all. Takarazuka Hankyu 1364 RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
