It is a business trip from Kashiwazaki-shi, Niigata Prefecture to Morioka from yesterday after the declaration of the state of emergency. I should have made it a separate business trip.
It is a social gathering in Kashiwazaki.
Local sake "King of the turtle". It is indeed a local sake of Niigata.
Classical sake? Balance? The royal road of sake?
A delicious but featureless sake. (This is just my personal opinion)
It is dry, but the sweetness and aroma are subtle.
The acidity is OK, and the taste and richness are there.
However, it leaves no impression.
The young employee in the background didn't know what it tasted like, so we killed him instantly.

There were some alcohol smells when I first opened it at the sake store, so I waited in the fridge for a bit before opening the bottle😊.
It has a refreshing aroma and sweetness like a blue melon, and is very easy to drink!
At the end, a pleasant acidity washes it down with a smooth and refreshing finish.
It may not have much impact, but it was a delicious sake with a refreshing and gentle sweetness✨.

We tasted sake from Nagaoka in Echigo.
This sake is made by Kusumi Shuzo, whose revival of the Kame no O sake rice became the model for the manga "Natsuko no Sake".
It has a light and refreshing taste like Niigata, with just the right amount of umami.
It's a beautiful sake with an authentic, orthodox style reminiscent of a standard Japanese calligraphy brush.
While I was drinking it, I felt like reading "Natsuko's Sake" again.

Opened August 3, 2020.
Pouring it into the glass, it has a very clean feel to it.
The aroma has a strong alcohol aroma. In the mouth, it's smooth like water at first.
There is no unnecessary sweetness, with a moderate acidity and bitterness in the second half.
Elegant and clean.
