Shikai-oh was also a first. I think they used to come to department stores for tasting and sales, and Yamaya used to have fresh sake, but I haven't seen them at all recently.
It seems that a certain Kinjaku distributor in Osaka is selling it...

Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`;)
Light in mouthfeel, but has a good core of flavor.
It has some acidity and is refreshing.
However, it is very drinkable.
When I first started drinking sake a long time ago, I was only aware that honjozo was cheap and drunk by people like me, and daiginjo was only for people with money. I love Toyohashi because of these memories.
And I have never had Shikai-O since then, and I am sure it was right!
And I bought a bottle of Yumachi because it was so good!
After all, Shikaiou is wonderful!

Touji no Yabou" is delicious with a strong sweetness and umami.
My favorite was "Junmai Ginjo Yumesansui", which I thought was fruity.
Yumesansui and Yumesaginko are sake rice from Aichi Prefecture, which is not so familiar to most sake brewers.

I microwaved it and warmed it up to lukewarm and it was so good, cooooool! ☺️🍶 It's the best tag team with oden!

Touji no Yabou is a sake that the toji was confident that this was the sake he wanted to make.
It was a delicious sake with a strong sweetness and umami flavor 😋.

The amount of sake to be tasted is about half of a cup. I felt it was not enough, but I guess it's a good amount to drink a variety of sake. The second sake at the Japanese Sake Festival. Shikai-oh.
