Hida Takayama Sake Brewery Nonbei Festival 2023 I went to the festival ^ ^. 1. Purchase "Hida Takayama Sake Seal Set" for ￥3,000 2. Visit 6 sake breweries and enjoy tasting 2 kinds of sake at a time. I bought the advance ticket for ¥2,700 at Seven two days before the tour and took the Hida Express for a day trip. A tote bag and a sake cup were included, and a stamp rally was held with a sake drinking book. It was a sunny Saturday. It was a sunny Saturday and the place was packed with tourists. We were too 😆. First stop was Funasaka Sake Brewery. The tasting was in plastic cups and included a daiginjo, a brewer's limited edition sake, and a dry sake. It was not that dry. I thought I would buy the "Kuragen Limited Sake" but it didn't seem that dry! I thought I might buy a bottle of the "brewer's limited edition", but since it was only the first stop 😅.

On Sunday, June 11, I participated in the Hida Takayama Ultra Marathon and managed to finish the race in the pouring rain, and if I do say so myself, I did my best. 🎉 The day before the marathon, I arrived in Takayama early and enjoyed Japanese sake at the "Drinkers' Festival". The entry fee was 3,000 yen and included a tour of 6 breweries, 2 sake tastings each, the tote bag in the photo, and a sake cup. 🍶 This time sake is the sake I bought at that time. Dorodoro, no explosion. It's like a traditional light and dry sake with a dororo. Cold sake is fine, but when I heated it up at the end, it was really good. Nigori sake should be heated, right? I'm sure you'll enjoy it 😋😋.

Opened April 23, 2023 Hometown #6. This one is a definite 😂. It's so mild, round and gentle, yet still has the full mellow deep mountain chrysanthemum flavor ^ ^. On a trip to Hida Takayama. After tasting at Funasaka Sake Brewery, we went to Aji no Yohei, which is attached to the same brewery, to compare the tastes. My personal impression is that the Hida sake tasted a bit mature for me, as I like fruity sake. I think it is perfect for those who like dry sake. The sweet sake on the right side was my favorite. The Hida meat was also great. By the way, Takayama has many sake breweries.
