Shizuoka Prefecture. Shizuoka City. Suruga Brewery Co.
Tenkoh Junmai Ginjyo Namaisouju.
Purchased with Nyan cup at the Yaizu Sakana Center liquor store in Shizuoka during my Obon vacation trip (Osaka to Shizuoka to Kanagawa Prefecture).
It was my first time without prior knowledge of the label, as I was curious about a label with only kanji characters.
I had it cold.
The color is a little yellowish.
The top aroma is a little apple-like and the alcohol aroma is strong.
I was a little scared because I was expecting a little.
On the palate, at first I thought it would be loose on the tongue, but it wasn't at all 💦.
The rice flavor and the harsh acidity changed to a surprisingly bitter-dry bitterness.
It's light and a bit strong sake with a peculiar and classic aftertaste.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Sake rice: 100% Sake-komachi
Sake degree:+4
Acidity: 1.2
Yeast used: Shizuoka yeast
Alcohol: 15 to 16 degrees Celsius.
Yamahai?
Bitterness, acidity 👍
Oh, it's strong, 17-18 degrees Celsius
Good aroma, good 👍
Something, I want meat 🍖.
Not modern style
I like the robustness 🥰.

One of the local sakes ordered with the sake tasting set at Numazu Uogashi Sushi Edomae Sushi Numazu
A well-balanced sake with a crisp acidity and sweetness, with a hint of fresh muskmelon in the aroma.
It is like a sake with a strong rice flavor. Goes well with shrimp miso and meat miso. If paired with light dishes, the dishes will be overpowered. It would also go well with foods with strong aroma, such as salted fish and pickled ginger. It would be more enjoyable if you choose the right accompaniments.
When I went to buy Macho, I found a bottle of alcohol that I had never seen before, so I bought it with him.
It has no aroma and is mild in the mouth. The taste is also mild, with a hint of melon. It also tastes like muscat. According to the liquor store, the melon taste is weaker than usual. I thought it would be spicier and less assertive, like a sake for eating, but it's more to my liking.
There are a lot of Shizuoka sakes that I feel are lacking in flavor, but this one made me think that for a moment and then betrayed me. Interesting.
The third one, when I drank Yatagarasu, I got a lot of Nara sake, but Yamato no Kuni recommended me to check in 0 sake 😅.
bouken, good evening😊 really! I'm not sure if the AI suddenly lost interest in me or not 🤣I only have 1 star on everything 😅First time checking in to Yamato no Kuni👍.
I'm sure you'll be able to find something that works for you.
Do you have your region and age set up❓If you do, the AI might do its best🤔
I'm not sure if the country of Yamato really exists if no one checks in🤣.
I hadn't set up my region or anything like that, so I did 👍 I look forward to your future recommendations 😉 Have you lost confidence in recommending Yamato country? I'm getting more and more curious 😆😁.
It has a very sharp taste, which may be the most surprising thing since I drank Drunken Whale. If you find it too spicy, heating it up might be just right!
Shizuoka Sake.
My first brand, Ten Niji.
The aroma is that of alcohol with a hint of bitterness.
When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the alcohol smell and the rice flavor.
After that, the taste of the rice can be felt, but it does not become too heavy.
You might think it's a rich umakuchi type, but it's more like a light umakuchi type.
The sharpness is good.
It is crisper than the impression on the palate, and is certainly good as a food sake.
I wish it didn't have that unpleasant flavor at the beginning.
Taste level 70 points
You can fully appreciate the roughness and mellow aroma typical of sake! This is a sake that I recommend to sake lovers! This is a sake to be recommended to sake lovers!
