The pink label of Junmai Genjyu Pink Label from Ryu Cochin, compared to the usual blue label, you can feel the sweetness of the rice when you drink it, but the aftertaste is wonderful, as if the sweetness is fleeting and then goes away to become minerality.
Personal preference 3.3/5
Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Part 5
On a previous trip to Akita, I visited
Chokai-san Omotobiki Shrine, the first shrine in Dewa Province.
I forgot to take a picture of the shrine... Interesting that it has the character "abhorrence" even though it is a shrine!
It is so atmospheric that it is also the location of the Sawashita-jojo fight in Rurouni Kenshin!
Dewaguni is so big that it stretches from Yamagata to Akita.
I bought a bottle of Ryu-bojing at a liquor store near there.
The amber color is well colored and the aroma is gorgeous!
It is not the easy-drinking type often seen in Akita, but a refreshing dry type!
I didn't know they had this type in Akita!
This time I had it as an after-dinner drink, but it would have been better with some snacks.
Thank you very much!
Ofuji-san konbanhar.
I've never seen this one before ( ⊙_⊙) crack me up.
I've recently started to explore the south of Akita prefecture for fishing & liquor stores😅.
Thanks for letting me know that it's dry.
Hi Eirin-san 🌙
I've never seen it in my hometown, but it was on my parent's "to drink" list, so I bought it 😮.
I'm sure you should try it - I've recently gotten to the point where I can even drink dry ✌️.
Brand name you won't see. Akita sake.
The moment you put your mouth on it, you will feel the soft sweetness.
After that, it is a very fresh and raw sake. Yamadanishiki-like.
It has a syrupy mouthfeel, but the bittersweetness tightens it up so it's not too thick (it leaves a bit of a residue on the tongue).
I thought it might be butterbur for a moment, but the aftertaste smells like peaches.
It seems like a sake from the north. Delicious.
The smoothness is also good when it is wet.
I enjoy it with leek salt steamed chicken oil.
Akita Sake 🍶.
Bought it because of the label design!
Sake that has a little bit of a habit and matches the image on the label.

<The powerful sweetness spreads out.
The aroma is a refreshing honey-sweet, slightly acidic whiff.
The mouthfeel is a melon sweet and sour mouthfeel. The palate is a combination of melon sweetness, acidity, and a complex umami bitterness.
The rich and powerful sweetness spreads out sizzlingly, and the umami is also very strong. But it is beautiful. The bitterness from the alcohol is mild but firm. But there is no bitterness at all.
The lingering sweetness is also very pleasant.
It was so delicious that I unusually had another glass.

The main character in the Ghibli film "Ears to the Sky" is Shizuku, who is troubled as a creator. She has her own problems as a creator, but she is also a romantic sweetheart. She is fresh and young, but she is running up the stairs to adulthood in a single bound.
Satisfaction: ★★★★★

The name "Ryuban" comes from the imperial handwriting of Emperor Goyozei owned by the manufacturer.
Unlike the image of a dragon coiling, this sake has a fruity aroma like a Junmai "Dai" Ginjo, yet it is mineral and dry without leaving any sweetness on the palate.
