The first bottle of Ohmine Cup was too good, too little, and it was gone before we entered Shimane Prefecture💦.
So I quickly bought the second bottle at the Seven in Shin-Yamaguchi Station, this sake, Yamatohka!
Taneda Yamatoka was a poet from Yamaguchi, and there is a bronze statue of him in front of Shinzanguchi station.
His poem "Aoba for eyes, mountain time bird, first bonito" is so famous.
I'll try the sake named after that great poet Yamaguchi produced!
The aroma is unique to the nose, with a hint of azoea.
And when you sip it, the sweetness is there and the spiciness and bitterness spreads ❗️.
It often lingers on the tongue 👅...
But I didn't mind it, and as I continued to drink, my tongue eventually got used to it, and before I knew it, I had finished the bottle.

I was curious about it when I went to Yamaguchi and drank a bottle of ordinary sake, Santohi, at the inn. My impression of it was that it had a strong rice flavor, which I liked. Recently, I've been preferring darker than the middle rather than too heavy. It seems that my body wants it that way. When I drink at home, my limiter tends to be a little loose... If I see a bottle of Santouka in town, I'll get a bigger bottle next time.
