Timeline
フリーター一代男I headed to the store around 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, but was told that it had not arrived yet. To kill time, I went to see an ophthalmologist whom I had not seen for a long time, but it had been 6 or 7 years and his chart had been destroyed ^^^. Due to a shortage of staff, the afternoon reception was only one hour, and I felt uneasy about the future of Japanese society.
After the doctor's visit, I headed to the liquor store again, and after a while it came in and I was able to purchase it safely, but there was something that bothered me a little (not a good story, so I will describe it later).
It may have been because I had abstained from drinking for a few days due to a medical checkup, but it tasted insanely good. The sweet and delicious silky taste was the same as last year, but it tasted better than last year, and I finished it in two days, which is unusual for me. I would like to repeat it, but there are so many notable sakes these days... like Sengoku.
When I purchased this sake, the manager told me that I should chill it more at home before drinking it, and that it arrived by room temperature delivery from Seino (Transport). He said that there was a cooler in the package which was almost meaningless....
Is it normal to ship fresh sake from a brewery to a liquor store at room temperature instead of cool delivery, because it's November, or because it won't be a problem for a day or so? I didn't think it was deteriorating, which is fine, but it did bother me a bit. ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, freelancer first generation man 😃.
Good job on your pre-checkup sobriety 😌.
Ophthalmologist to kill time? I'm sorry to say that this review is full of problems like the lack of receptionist manpower 🥲 and the 2024 truck 🚚 problem 😅😅 Well, I'm glad that the taste of chrysanthemum was improved 😋. フリーター一代男Good evening, Jay & Nobby ^-^.
I've been going to the eye doctor regularly for glaucoma vision tests for the past 20 years, but there was no change, so I left it alone for a few years. w
I wonder how this shipment is going to be while some breweries are talking about the management of sake in taverns.... フリーター一代男Last year, it was in stock around noon, and when I visited around 1:00 p.m., expecting it to be in stock around the same time this year, it was still not. While killing time for a while, I looked at the Nihon-ya Twitter feed and saw a bulletin about its arrival, so I bought it safely around 2:00 p.m. Three people, including myself, came to buy it as fast as they could. Three people, including myself, came to buy it as fast as they could.
I was in the middle of drinking a bottle of Miyoshikiku, but I opened it immediately after I got home because it was a sake nouveau. I am not sure how it differs from last year's, but this year's was sweet and tasty, fresh and very tasty. I don't know about the difference from last year, but this year it was very tasty, sweet and tasty fresh. フリーター一代男Purchased at Nihon-ya. I had two objectives for the day: to buy Densho-Kiku and Shisui no Dawn reservations, so I had to make a stop, but the first time I visited, the store was closed. The price had gone up about 50 yen since last year, but considering the recent price hikes, I guess it can't be helped.
This was the first time for me to check in again with the same brand, but I knew it was good, and when I actually drank it, I found it to be sweet and tasty, with a slight effervescence, and it tasted great. I wrote something similar in last year's check-in, and it makes me realize how little progress I've made (lol).
It took me 3 days to finish it this year. フリーター一代男I had tasted it before and visited the store four times to buy it, but the store was not open. I finally stopped by on my way back from my last trip on the Seishun 18-kippu ticket and found it open, so I was able to buy it. I was rather interested in Kaygetsu because it appeared in a certain travel manga that is scheduled to be made into an anime next year.
CEL24 reminds me of Kameizumi, which also has a taste reminiscent of pineapple, perhaps due to the yeast. However, it is not as mellow as CEL24, but rather crisp and easy to drink. It is a matter of taste, but I think I like Kaygetsu better...although I am a bit skeptical since I drank Kameizumi more than a year ago. ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Mr. Freelancer!
When we drank at a buckwheat noodle restaurant, we were served a bottle of Kameizumi 🤗I remember it was very tasty and refreshing 😋and Kameizumi is one of the bottles we drank at home and for some reason didn't raise it to the sake crocodile 😆. フリーター一代男Hello, Jay & Nobby ^^^^!
You are a chic Soba noodle shop to serve this - I wonder if this is right for you since you can drink it swishy.
I am also a fan of Kameizumi's contribution to Yumacho ^^^^. フリーター一代男At my usual liquor store. Last year, I passed on the Discovery Series because I would have to drink Kangiku forever, but this year, I decided to try at least one of the four varieties. I wondered what the true value of sake made from rice Fusakogane was.
I had a stereotype of Kangiku as being sweet and tasty, but this one has a juicy acidity reminiscent of citrus fruits. I didn't feel the sweetness that much. I would like to try the other ones in the series, but maybe next year?
There were no other customers at the time of purchase, so the manager told me a lot about the store. It was especially interesting to hear what he said about the advice he received from Eiko Fuji when the chrysanthemum was not selling well. I guess that's why they don't sell products all year round!
I was also curious to know what Kaygetsu tasted like, so I asked them about it and they let me try it. It was delicious, so I will buy some on my next visit. ジェイ&ノビィHello, freelancer first generation man 😃.
I've always thought of chrysanthemum as sweet! That's right, I've been avoiding it for a little while 😅If this one is not as sweet, I might give it a try for the first time in a while 🤔. フリーター一代男Good evening, Jay and Nobby!
I tended to skip this year's "Kangiku" because I tasted "Ama-yami" last year, but this one was delicious with the acidity in the foreground. But when I look at other people's postings, I see that there are some who say it is sweet and tasty... フリーター一代男When I visited the station, it was open, so I bought some. We tasted about 4 or 5 other brands of sake, which made us lightly intoxicated. I heard a little bit about a certain sake brewery, and I thought their attitude of not pandering to the latest taste was very graceful, but if they kept reducing the number of stones, they would eventually go out of business...or they were willing to do so.
It has been 4 months since I last tasted Koshi. It was a bit gassy, sweet, and tasty. I have known Kouji since I was in elementary school when I collected sake lids, but if it had tasted the same as it did back then, I might not have found it tasty. Thanks to the efforts of the sake brewers. ジェイ&ノビィHello, freelancer first generation man 😃.
I already knew the taste of Koshi 👅 when I was in elementary school 😳 that's not true 🙄 but progress is based on hard work. フリーター一代男Good evening, Jay & Nobby ^-^.
I didn't drink it as a quintessential drink. W I also miss the fact that I didn't know the difference between sake and shochu at that time. I know it must be a lot of work for the sake brewers, but I wish them the best. フリーター一代男I visited to see if they still had some of the Kangiku Haruhi, but they said it was gone, so I bought this one. It is about time for the Kangiku I drank last year to be available again, and I wonder if I should check the difference from last year or look more into another brand....
This sake has sweetness and umami with a bit of bitterness, or rather, Eiko Fuji often seems rather like Kangiku. I like this strain, so I don't mind.
When I bought this sake, I was allowed to compare it with the same brand that was sold last year and aged for a year at the store, and I was surprised at the considerable difference. I don't know if it was the effect of aging, the quality of last year's wine being better, or both, but I thought it would be fun to try aging it at home. I don't have a refrigerator; フリーター一代男I bought it at my usual liquor store. When I asked about the next shipment of Kangiku, I was told that it would arrive on "Haruhi Day," and I was expecting another store to not have it on Leap Day. Four years later...will I still be drinking sake?
I thought it was the usual Kangiku, sweet and tasty...but there was something more to it than that, but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from...but from what I read in Sake-no-wa's post, it seems to have a sourness to it. I also like Senkyoku, so I guess that's what it is. フリーター一代男I visited and purchased it a few days after it went on sale. I was quite surprised to hear that I was the third person, according to the owner. Well, I guess it can't be helped that the store is often closed...
It had a level of bubbles that was totally more robust than I had expected, and I would call it slightly carbonated. It was almost gone by the next day, though. It was tasty as usual, and I had never had this level of bubbles with Kangiku in my life, so it was fresh (or maybe I just forgot). フリーター一代男The year started and for the first time in quite a while, I ran out of sake at home, so I made my first visit to a liquor store this year. I found something I had seen in a tweet from this liquor store, so I bought it. I had seen this brand at Sake-no-wa and was curious about it, so I was glad to be able to buy it. I am glad I was able to buy it because there are far more things I can't buy;
As the name suggests, it is slightly carbonated and has a fruity flavor. It is light in strength and has all the factors that make it easy to drink, making it tasty and easy for beginners.
It is recommended to put it in the freezer and drink it as sleet, so I left about half a bottle in the freezer and put it there. I left it at room temperature for a while and drank it in a sorbet-like state, but this kind of thing is also quite good. I thought about doing it with that thing that I'm having trouble getting into my mouth, but I guess it would be too subtle even if I did it with pale... フリーター一代男This one has the usual Kangiku-like sweetness and flavor, and I feel it is stable. Although I prefer Shiraginkai.
I bought it at my usual liquor store, but 39 was already on sale on the day I went to buy it, and I was allowed to taste both Ginkai and 39. I have the same impression of Kangiku every time, but it is interesting to compare the two on the spot. I am not sure if it is just that the 39 is obviously clearer and easier to understand.
The third one was aged in a convenience store for almost 3 years. It was given to me as a cooking sake, and when I drank a little bit of it, it was surprisingly not undrinkable. However, even if I drank the new one, it was not my favorite taste. フリーター一代男New Year
Happy New Year! We look forward to working with you again this year.
As the New Year has begun, here is the last sake of last year and the first sake of this year. At the time of my last post, I thought it would be the last active nigori sake from Yamama, but since I was able to leave work one hour early on New Year's Eve, I was able to avoid spending the New Year's Eve on the train and was able to return home before the new year began, so I was able to drink it as the year passed. Well, I could not drink to the point of collapse on New Year's Day, because I started work at 11:00 a.m. ^-^;
I was thankful for the 39th anniversary of the New Year, and drank a lot of sake. The taste was clear and crisp, perhaps due to the difference in polish, although it was the same as usual Kangiku. I think I prefer this one to the usual one. It is delicious.
When I tried to buy this sake, the owner asked me if I had bought the Horizon, and when I told him I hadn't, he brought out a bottle hidden in the back and I bought it. To be honest, if it wasn't there, I thought it would be okay if it wasn't there, but when he told me he was saving it for a regular customer, I literally said thank you, thank you ^^^^^. Masaaki SapporoHappy New Year to you, Freelancer I-Day Man 🎍Good liquor store ✨Hope to see you again this year👍. ジェイ&ノビィHappy New Year to you, Mr. Freelancer First Generation Man 😌!
Oh! You went to Chiba Sake as you declared 🤗and even crossed over the year 😆 Really ‼️ Thank you first of all to the liquor stores that take care of their regular customers 😊. フリーター一代男Masaaki Sapporo-san, Happy New Year! フリーター一代男Jay & Nobby, I look forward to working with you again this year! ポンちゃんHappy New Year to you, Freelancer Ichiyo Otoko 🎍 and best wishes for the new year 😊.
I can see you have a good relationship with your liquor store👍✨The name of your drink fits perfectly and gives me a warm feeling: ❣️ フリーター一代男Happy New Year, Pon-chan! I look forward to working with you again this year.
It was really an unexpected turn of events, and even the name matched the situation, which was a bit amusing. フリーター一代男Apparently it was very popular at Hakuginkai, and the store manager said that he reserved a few bottles for himself to drink, but in the end he sold them all to his customers and couldn't drink them ^^^;
Some people came all the way from Kanagawa to drink it, so we had no choice but to sell it to them...
I didn't feel any particular nigori (nigori sake) quality, perhaps because I've been drinking a lot of Kangiku (I preferred Denshogiku Oorigarami), but it is Kangiku, so it was natural to say that it was sweet and delicious. フリーター一代男I bought this when I visited a liquor store the day before to confirm the arrival of Sakasui no Yoake. I had seen it at Sake-no-Wa and was curious about it. Thank you very much for letting me taste it.
It was my first time to drink Eiko Fuji, and it was quite tasty, fruity and delicious, with a little bit of a unique flavor. I would like to try other labels, but my stock has grown a bit large and I don't know when that will happen. It is my urgent task to curb my impulse purchases; フリーター一代男The unfiltered, unfiltered, draft sake version of Denshogiku, I'm glad I was able to purchase this one without hitting a closing during delivery (?).
It is still sweet, as is typical of Kangiku! It's delicious! It was not as easy to drink as the orikarami. It is so consistently tasty that I would like to see a little change, but maybe I just can't sense it. I also have a theory that I drink too much Kangiku to begin with... フリーター一代男I bought a bottle of sake nouveau that I had reserved. I left home late, thinking that it would arrive in the evening at the earliest, since it was supposed to be squeezed and shipped as is, but it turned out that it arrived in the afternoon. I was ready to buy it as soon as I got home... I would have liked to have had some of the Denshikiku oriogara, but they were sold out;
I opened the bottle as soon as I got home. It was sweet and tasty, fresh and delicious. I like that each brand of sake here has a different taste that I can easily distinguish. I want to try another one...or maybe I already have one.
It seems that there will be an event at the brewery on the 19th, but I can't go because I have to work on Sunday. ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, freelancer first generation man 😃.
I was planning to get it this year when I found out it existed last year, but I forgot to reserve it 🥲.
You can drink it right after you buy it! That's a local advantage 😊and it still looks delicious 😋. フリーター一代男Hello, Jay and Nobby!
The manager of the liquor store also told me that he often gets told that they forgot about him after they closed the reservation ^^;
I envy you, because the local interest is also very strong in Tochigi! フリーター一代男I went to get a haircut to make sure the store was open on the day of arrival, and when I returned to buy it, it was closed with a delivery-in-progress tag, so I bought it later. It is difficult (to use this liquor store) unless you are able to see when delivery is in progress.
The sake is slightly cloudy and slightly foamy, and although it is the usual sweet and tasty sake, it tasted so good that I emptied it in 2 days (it usually takes around 4 days). If it's still on sale, I'll probably repeat the experience. I'm looking forward to the next OCEAN99, which also seems to be nigori! フリーター一代男On my way home from the hospital, I stopped by Nihon-Ya to see if they had any Monochrome since yesterday, today, and today were the shipping days for Kangiku, and found that it was already in stock, so I bought it. When I visited the store, there was a person who had already bought it, and he said that he had come once in the morning. He was too stubborn.
As for the taste, I can say that it is the same as Kangiku, but the taste of this one is mellower than the others, making it even easier to drink. It is delicious. I think I have renewed my personal No. 1 ranking of Kangiku. (The previous No. 1 was OCEAN99 Aomi)
I've also reserved a bottle of Sakasui no Dawn. I'd like to buy this one as fast as possible and drink it immediately upon my return home, but probably won't be able to due to work... フリーター一代男The store is well-known for its chrysanthemum, so I again bought some chrysanthemum. The taste is sweet and delicious as usual, but the bitter aftertaste is a characteristic of the rice, which is why it is good even while eating.
However, there are four limited editions of Kangiku, and if I keep chasing after them, I may end up drinking Kangiku forever, so next time I would like to try something different.
I've updated the Android version of Sake-no-Wawa, but the font has gotten bigger and it's a little harder to read... フリーター一代男I have known the brand name "Gen no Taki" since I was in elementary school (due to the fact that collecting sake lids was popular. I liked it because of the rarity of the name.
But aside from that, here it is. It was manufactured in October '21, with a hole in the stopper and a yellowish discoloration, so I thought, "This must be bad, right? I thought, "This is bad, isn't it? It is impossible. I'll leave this as a reminder, but I don't want to remember it. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
