A sake trip to Ibaraki, where many of the brands I have recently enjoyed drinking at izakaya (Japanese style pubs) are delicious. The first sake was a familiar one, Takeyuki. It has a yogurt-like aroma, a full-bodied but not too sweet taste, and a slight spiciness in the aftertaste that leaves you feeling refreshed.

Savory aroma like caramel popcorn Well-balanced taste of umami, acidity and sweetness The most unique among all the wines we compared this time! It seems to go well with dishes with a clear flavor such as stewed cubes.

Mild flavor spread while being slippery. It is better to drink it lukewarm than chilled to enjoy the flavor.

Hi Noren-san, I went the other day! I didn't have much time before the train, so I couldn't drink this one 🥺 I had the impression that Tsuki no I was different from mild, but I haven't tried Junmai Ginjo, so I'll try it next time!

I'm not sure if I was able to taste it properly after the second cup... but it certainly tasted like it was made by Tsuki no Ii.
