I bought it thinking it would be refreshing and sweet, but it was pleasantly sweet with just the right amount of bitterness and gasiness! Shimizuya is a rice shop, but they have a sake booth in the back with a wide variety of sake 😆.

2/23 Mt. Fuji Day, squeezed and shipped early in the morning! A lucky charm🍶 made from Shizuoka's 2038 Honorific Fuji, with prayers for happiness, prosperity, and good health. Increase your luck and spirituality⤴️ Delicious♪♪♪ The sake was not as strong as I expected for a draft sake, and it was easy to drink.

This is my first time drinking Echigo-zakura, and it is well-balanced, has the flavor of rice in a daiginjo, but also has some miscellaneous flavors, is easy to drink, and has a perfect aftertaste, so I completely overdrank it! Overall, this is one of those sakes that you can tell is from Niigata. It went great with squid.

The first draft sake brewed with this year's new rice! It is slightly carbonated at 17 degrees and comes with a gusto, but the sweetness and freshness of the rice comes later! It can be served with meat as a snack.
