A night of drinking at "Fukuna Sakai" with my usual friends. Finally, we ordered the "roasted duck" that we had been curious about, which was quite delicious and similar to the seasoning we had previously had at an izakaya in Kyoto. Now, I've chosen sake from outside of the prefecture, but I ordered a bottle of Fukui sake to finish off the evening 🍶. Sari Junmai Daiginjo The aroma of rice with a hint of acidity, a slight shift from sweetness to umami, and then a sharp finish with a clear rice aroma. The sweetness and umami that is typical of "Sari" and the clean acidity finish off the duck's flavor and fat with a good aftertaste. I had a course, a la carte and various other dishes, all of them were very delicious and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food, so I found a good restaurant ✨I will have to go back in the future

A night of drinking at "Fukuna Sakai" with my usual friends. We had a total of 5 dishes, but there were more attractive dishes on the a la carte menu, so we added a few more! We also had a selection of sake that was a little dry, as the drinks were rather gentle on the palate. Shichihonjari Junmai Tamakae. Aroma of firm rice, freshness on the palate, umami, and a gentle aftertaste. Served with seasonal "Fukino Miso". The saltiness of the miso, the umami of the butterbur, and the bittersweet flavor of the Seven Spears are a good match.

A night of drinking at Fukuna Sakai with my usual friends (3) After the four-course meal, we tried to order more dishes from the a la carte menu, but the portions were too small, so we were offered a fifth dish, "Fried bamboo shoots wrapped in shiso leaves" ✨. I thought a little refreshing sake would be good with the hot fried food, so I chose this one to start the meal 🍶. Sentori Modern Sentori Mukunin. Fruity aroma with a hint of sourness. It was a bottle full of Tochigi's love🥰 that washed away the oil while accompanying the delicious taste of freshly fried seasonal bamboo shoots.

A night of drinking at Fukuna Sakai with my usual friends. Sharaku" was empty, so we moved on to the next drink 😁. I decided to order this sake first because it was listed on the sake menu 🍶. La saison light nigori (light nigori) by Kuushinin Kuheiji. The aroma is clear and sweet with a hint of rice, the mouthfeel is sweet and umami, and the finish is sharp and mild. Wow, this is delicious! The dish paired with this was the fourth course item, grilled trout ✨. The salty taste of the fatty flavor of the trout brought out by the saltiness goes well with the gentle and mild "Kuheiji"! The second one is the second course dish [Sardine Ball Stewed with Wakatake Bamboo Cutlets].

The second half of GW is here✨ After the children's daycare, my wife and daughters went back to my parents-in-law's house, and I had to work the night shift on the 3rd, so I had a free night after a long time 🌃. I called all the usual members and they were all here so we all went out for a drink 😁. We ordered a 4-course entrée course because the food was delicious and the sake selection was good when we visited the restaurant for lunch a while ago 🍴. We started with beer and then took turns choosing the sake we were interested in. Sharaku Junmai Ginjo. A sweet fruity aroma reminiscent of apples, a clear sweet umami taste, and an aftertaste similar to the sourness of apples. We paired it with the third dish of the course, today's sashimi, which is also delicious to the eyes. It was my first time to try "Sharaku" if you think about it 🤣. The second photo shows the first course "Appetizer", "Matsumae Grilled Firefly Squid Kelp Shimeme" and "Sailfish Tuna and Straw with Tororo (Japanese horseradish)".
