Zipair sake on the flight back to San Francisco. Didn't finish the bottle and brought it home. It tasted quite sweet!

Sushi Wednesday at Sprouts supermarket! (sushi for $5)
They paired it with this sake so I grabbed one. Tastes sweet and refreshing, with a little sharpness. Would drink again.

It's less sweet than the Yuki Nigori lychee I normally get. I think I preferred that one!

Red sake from a type of ancient rice. My first thought was, "this is like the port wine of sake", kind of a strong particular flavor. It was in the "unusual" category and was certainly unusual indeed.
NYC has some great sake bars!
