Bought at Mount Gozaisho after a lovely hike with my HelloTalk friend. Drank on Shinkansen and Narita Skyliner on my way home. Good way to end the trip ๐
Taste is a bit sharp. Not my favorite but still nice.

It's a little fruity, with a tart aftertaste. At a minshuku in Ohara.

From local brewery. I quite like it, easy to drink. Taste is somewhat neutral, not sure what to say :)

On the sweet side, with a strange extra flavor I can't quite describe. Haven't decided if I like it or not.

็ฐไธญๅฟ ้ๅ tanaka chukindo tasting room on Kiyomizuzaka. Nice little break from the crowds. Didn't have checked luggage so couldn't bring it home but maybe I can look for it here.

Zipair sake on the flight back to San Francisco. Didn't finish the bottle and brought it home. It tasted quite sweet!

It's less sweet than the Yuki Nigori lychee I normally get. I think I preferred that one!

Red sake from a type of ancient rice. My first thought was, "this is like the port wine of sake", kind of a strong particular flavor. It was in the "unusual" category and was certainly unusual indeed.
NYC has some great sake bars!
