First issue. When I opened the package, I was frightened because the aroma was like "THE sake (Showa style)". When you take it in, it has a melon-like fruity taste, and then it becomes sweet and bitter. It comes in with a crisp and tight feeling. (I can't put it into words well...) I've been feeling that the fruity flavored brands I've been liking are too sweet, so this is good for summer. I would like to pair it with sashimi or sushi.

You can tell from the aroma that it's going to be delicious (my favorite). The fruity flavor spreads from the first sip, and I never get tired of drinking it. I enjoyed it on the second and third day as well. I'm happy to say that it tastes even better the next day and beyond.

This is the first time for both the brand name and the Hokkaido sake rice, Kitashizuku. From the fresh and gentle taste It has a soft (banana-like?) aftertaste. It has a lingering aftertaste. I found another interesting brand.

Kuheiji has a perfect balance of acidity and umami. If you drink it in the tin sake cup I got, you can enjoy it at a stable temperature (while it's still cold). If you want to enjoy it when the temperature rises and it "opens up", you should use glass or ceramic... I learned a lot and it was fun!

There is a sense of melon, but it is also tangy and sharp. When you mix it from the top of the bowl, the melon feeling is softened and the whole balance is adjusted. Delicious, I like it.
