The first aroma is softly sweet.
In the mouth, it has a smooth, juicy sweetness with a slight astringency that finishes off the taste.
I like it, but the Iraka I've had so far is like water and I didn't feel it was very drinkable, but the Gin/Kuro is much more drinkable and tasty 😊.

I am here in Matsudai. I've been hooked on Nagano since the Nagano Longitudinal Expressway was built, and I can't tell you how many times I've been on a hot springs or historical trip.
This time, I tried to visit Matsudai but I couldn't see enough of the city in one night.
In the evening, I tried to find a restaurant that served good sake, but for some reason they were all full. The restaurant we ended up at was a good choice.
The snacks are delicious. You can tell they are very particular about their food. They have everything from Japanese sake to Western sake. There was a "Iraka" sake, so I tried it for the first time. It is sweet and sour, but has a light sweetness and refreshing acidity. I can see why it is popular.

First time getting sake from Iraka Sake Brewery on my commute route.
I used to see it under construction every day.
Light and refreshing aroma with a thin apple aroma and light mouthfeel.
Dry sake with a harmony of sweet, spicy, astringent and bitter.
Easy to drink!

Tonight, a bit of a long time no see from Shinshu sake here 💁.
Iraka Gin-Akiraki 2024BY ✨
This is Iraka's 5th release? This time it's a pure rice with a raw yeast yeast yeast. This time, it is a pure rice sake spec.
From the aroma, it is colorless, odorless, and almost clear, with a slight lactic acidity from the sake yeast. On the palate, there is a firm acidity and juiciness like the title of the bottle, Dawn Orange or 🍊 honeydew, and then the wild, rough dryness of the sake comes through and finishes with a crisp, sharp finish.
Refreshing, juicy, dry classic taste that I like 😋😋😋😋.
Again, it was delicious 😊.

It's been a while since I've been to this standing bar, partly because it's been remodeled for a while.
I went in with a "let's drink" attitude.
First of all, Shinshu Kamerei Junmai Hitogokochi, which just came out, yes, it's really good and easy to drink 😊It's really good when the bottle is just opened (from my reflection the other day).
I haven't been able to go to Ueda recently, but I wonder if I can get a bottle if I go there?
Next up is the new Iraka Ikaimoto, which I was able to meet the toji when I visited here in June, and he told me that he was going to make the next one. It is very mellow and has no noticeable acidity, which is typical of nama-moto. I say "for a nama-moto sake" because I drink it with information, but if I drank it without knowing it, I wouldn't understand. It is delicious.
It's expensive, but 💦 it's good.
