I looked up MARU and found that it is a popular tavern in Hagi City called "Hagi no sake and Hagi no snacks MARU" and that it is a seahorse (zodiac sign) bottle written by the owner of the tavern.
It is a light cloudy sake 🍶.
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of koji malt.
In the mouth, there is a gentle sweetness of rice, a full flavor, and a slight acidity like lactic acid.
There are a lot of dry nigori or nigori (light nigori) sake this time of year, but this one was a little sweeter.
