Kaishuichi, also known as Kaishuichi Sake Brewery, is the representative brand of Yamaguchi Gomei Kaishuichi.
Although the brewery has a history of over 360 years, it is the oldest and newest brewery in Aizu, having closed its doors and undergone a major rebuild in 2007. Although the brewery is downsizing, it is still brewing sake with a focus on Fukushima products.

The rice is Fukunokou. This is also not found in Kansai, so I bought it.
The aroma is slightly pineapple. It is fruity but a little dry and refreshing. Slight sweetness. I was told it was dry, but I didn't feel it was that dry.
