Yamada Nishiki Shizuku
Rice Yamadanishiki
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol content 16
This sake is produced in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, the birthplace of Yamadanishiki.
It has a fermented taste reminiscent of dairy products and a mild sweetness.
The aroma is gorgeous through the nose.
Made with Hyogo Grade A Yamadanishiki from Miki City, the brewery's hometown.
Aroma of rice and a slight taste of sake from the barrel
When you take a sip, you first taste the acidity, then the sweetness, and then the spiciness.
It is a sake with a variety of flavors.
Sake from Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The sake of the brewer, Inami Shuzo, has recently been seen in many places.
This is another reason for me to look for new Hyogo souvenirs.
The moment it hits the palate, it has a deep, sweet aroma typical of junmai sake. The sweetness is preceded by a rich, grape-like sweetness.
This spiciness is quite sharp and intense.
Between the sweetness and spiciness, there is a unique aroma similar to that of straw, and the taste is a bit harsh, which may be controversial.
How about when it is heated?
The warmth and rich sweetness come together.
It rushes up and is quickly enveloped by a pungent taste. The aftertaste is quite spicy.
The way the flavor expands, it is suitable for warmed sake.
At the HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2022
Many famous sake breweries had sake stores.
but this was the first time for me to see this sake.
I tasted it and bought it!
Alcohol 16 degrees Celsius
I enjoyed it better at room temperature!
The aroma and taste of the rice is very strong!
I will make love to you deliciously!
One of Inami Sake Brewery's best? I guess.
Polishing rice is 50, and it is heavy and tastes like rice.
It is a heavy, thick sake, and goes down a treat.
We are grateful for the gift.
The liquor store that carries it was sold out, so I wanted to go to the brewery directly, but the weather was bad, so I bought it by mail order from the brewery.
It is spicier than the Yamadanishiki Shizuku I drank before, but it is refreshing. There are some common nuances. It's not sweet, but it has a unique taste and is not too spicy.
But I like Yamadanishiki Shizuku Unfiltered Jizake (what is unfiltered Jizake?) more because of its unusual tea-like taste.
It is reasonably priced for a sake made with 50% polished rice from Yamada-Nishiki in the Special A district.
