The liquor store that carries it was sold out, so I wanted to go to the brewery directly, but the weather was bad, so I bought it by mail order from the brewery. It is spicier than the Yamadanishiki Shizuku I drank before, but it is refreshing. There are some common nuances. It's not sweet, but it has a unique taste and is not too spicy. But I like Yamadanishiki Shizuku Unfiltered Jizake (what is unfiltered Jizake?) more because of its unusual tea-like taste. It is reasonably priced for a sake made with 50% polished rice from Yamada-Nishiki in the Special A district.

It's so sour you'd think it was a traditional yeast mash.

I think it's quite spicy when I drink it again.

I feel like it's highly appropriate for aging.

It tastes better after a while. I think it's more acidic.

It's sweeter, too.
