I paired this fish with an Oita sake. Sansui.
It was the first time for me to feel the sourness with sweetness in the aroma.

I would have loved to enjoy the Beppu night, but I was tired from driving, so I decided to have a relaxing drink back at the hotel!
I bought some drinks and snacks at a local supermarket under the elevated railway tracks of Beppu station, and returned to my room.

Sansui Special Junmai Sake
Old Matsu Sake Brewery (Hita City)
According to a Google search, this sake won a gold medal in the sake-for-dinner category at the "Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass" sake awards sponsored by the Institute of Sake Culture.
It also won a gold medal in the "Value-priced heated sake, lukewarm category" at the "Heated Sake Contest 2020".

The aroma is white grape with a hint of alcohol.
The drink is refreshingly fruity.
The finish is dry with more acidity than sweetness.
