Yesterday's health guidance told me to take 3 days off per week, but since it's my last night as a bachelor, I'm drinking again tonight 😋.
Tonight's accompaniment is the second bottle of the October edition of the Shinshu Jizake Hanpukai, Seizan❣️.
It's my first time 🤗.
The brand name Seizan is no longer available on the market and can only be tasted in this hanpukai 🙌!
The owner of the sake shop wanted to keep the name "Seizan" only in the Shinshu Jizake Hanpukai 👍!
The bottle is now open🎉!
The taste is refreshingly dry, just like a light and dry sake from Shinshu 🍶!
The hanpukai's item description recommends drinking it cold, but it tastes even better when heated up 😋.
It was the perfect sake for a mealtime drink!
I would like to try it with fresh sashimi 🥰.
It's not easy to do so in Shinshu, a prefecture with no sea 😢.
Good evening, Mr. Sieg Jikon 🌆🌆.
The doctor told you yesterday, but you ignored it⁉️.
You're good at it 😁.
Well, 3 times a week off your liver is too much...
Good evening, Chichi 😃.
I'm not a shikat 😆.
I'm going to start doing it next week🤣.
I'm serious 🤣.
I don't drink in secret 🤣.
I'm going to take Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as my rest days 🤣.
I'm telling you the truth 🤣
Mr. Zyklon, tomorrow is your day off, but if you drink like me, you will ruin your day off 😢. If you drink like that, you will ruin your rest day like me 😢. I hope you will enjoy sake 🍶 for a long time. Thank you 🍶🤗
Aroma of grainy goodness.
The mouthfeel is firm and calm, with a slight sweetness of fruit in the back.
It's still hard when it's just opened, but the flavor is there.
It's not the popular sweet and juicy type, so it's for experts.
I think it would go well with Japanese dishes with dashi!
A bottle like this is delicious once in a while!
Shinshu Jizake Hanpukai Secret 8
Seizan after a long time.
I don't like this one very much😅.
The alcohol smell is quite pronounced.
A little hard to drink😅.
2/10th bottle purchased at Nagano.
I could sense a strong honey-like sweetness slowly coming through. The overall impression was fresh and sweet, despite the +3 rating for the sake level.
The spiciness came out as the days passed.
It was shipped last September, more than a year ago, so I wondered if that was partly to blame.
I thought it was "Hijiri Mountain" because there's a mountain with that name in my hometown, and so is the registered name, but the label says "SEIZAN".
