Purchased at Kanazawa station when I went to a Hokuriku Shinkansen test ride.
It is sweet and tastes like a daiginjo. It has no peculiar taste and would go well with a meal with a strong flavor.
Today in Kanazawa.
We compared three kinds of local sake!
First, Kagatsuru.
It is my favorite of the three because of its sweetness and the freshness characteristic of unpasteurized sake.
It was delicious!
I went looking for Noto sake, but there was none, so this is Ishikawa sake. It has a classical flavor with a hint of malted rice. It is said to go well with jibe-ni (stewed vegetables), but tonight we had sukiyaki. It also goes well with sukiyaki.
I wanted to drink a little sake and was hesitant to open a precious four-pack at home, so I went to a nearby Life to check out the selection.
It was good for a quick drink.
The waiter was too busy to take a picture of the label. It is not gorgeous, but has a full mouthfeel with no unpleasant taste. The aftertaste is a little alcoholic, but it doesn't leave a strange residue, and it is very tasty.
