Found this at Yodobashi. Echigo Toji is sold at Haretoke, but I had the impression that it was only classic sake, so I passed on it, but this one has a modern-looking label, so I bought it! Polishing ratio 48%, Gohyakumangoku I imagined it to be light and dry, but it is a bit richer than I expected and has a good amount of sweetness. The latter half of the bottle has an impression of converging with spiciness.

Today, in the evening I went to MISIA's concert 🎵. Powerful, colorful, fantastic and Diva in full throttle, it was great ❣️ Not letting the excitement die down, I had a little drink on the way home, I went to a warm fair for Buri (yellowtail). Buri Sashimi, Buri Daikon, Aonori Tofu, and of course, hot sake 🍶. and of course, hot sake! It's getting colder, and this combination is golden! I'm glad I'm Japanese. ❣️

My memory of the last time I drank this sake was a bit fuzzy, so I tried it again warmed up. A classic medium-bodied sake with a mellow, mellow, dry mouthfeel that is reminiscent of old-fashioned sake. Great with sashimi and chilled tofu! It has a strong and somewhat comforting flavor that reminds us that Niigata's traditional sake is not only light and dry.

Purchased at a convenience store on a trip to Niigata Aroma and flavor typical of honjozo Not much aroma. Taste is alcoholic and dry, not much aftertaste. Good as a food sake, snack type Alone...
