Matsue Izumo Trip
The second cup of sake at the third restaurant "Shunsaitei Raijin" 😁 Memorandum
The red bottle was recommended as a souvenir at the first restaurant and here as well, and only the 4-goupe bottle comes in a red bottle. I couldn't buy it because I couldn't stop by the liquor store that sold it 🤣 but I thought it would be a good souvenir if they sold it 😋.
The fourth one is the potato salad that my wife was raving about: ☺️
The aroma has a hint of nuttiness and grain sweetness behind the steam. When poured warmed, it has a faint golden hue.
In the mouth, it has the thickness that only unfiltered sake can have, yet it has a gentle umami flavor that spreads gradually without any cloying taste. The dry sharpness is pleasant, and the lingering aftertaste is quietly sweet and full of rice.
Purchased at Hamada Fish Market.
This sake is light, refreshing, a little dry, and easy to drink. I served it with boiled sea eel that I also bought at the fish market. Goes well ✨.
A local sake I encountered on my travels. It is a sake with a strong flavor, sweetness, and depth, with a lightness and gorgeousness of brewer's alcohol.
