They were having a tasting sale, so I had a chance to try many different kinds of sake, and I decided to go with the Junmai unfiltered undiluted sake. I thought it had a nice aroma and it was 55% polished rice.
It smells like pineapple, and when you drink it, it has a nice sweetness and acidity, with a caramel-like bitterness and some spiciness that lingers. Everything here was delicious.

This is the first of four bottles I purchased from Gonoi Sake Brewery, taking advantage of their free shipping campaign (thanks for the tip, Kaoshi Kanon!).
I selected this one because it's your first sake brewery and the label was pretty cool too! ๐
The aroma is slightly fruity.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel a light sweetness and at the same time the bitterness spreads! But it's not an unpleasant bitterness, it's a nice sweet and bitter type. ๐ .
You can't go wrong with Fukushima sake! ๐

It must have been about three years ago. It was a mid-winter morning when the moon was still faintly visible. I was hurrying to put on my leather shoes at the door to catch the first train, when I met my little girl who had woken up and needed to go to the bathroom. She saw me and went back to her room without saying a word. I walked to the station, looking up at the moon to keep the tears from falling. Thank you God๐
