Kitanohomare K30 Konjun is a junmai sake from Godo Shusei brewed at a factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
The amount of koji used in the brewing process is 1.5 times larger than usual, resulting in a rich, full aroma and flavor that spreads in the mouth.
It is a delicious sake that will not be defeated by strong-flavored dishes such as Chinese food.

Normally I wouldn't pass it up, but I thought it looked unusual and bought it.
It's been a year since it was made, but I don't feel it's aged too long. It is light, refreshing and easy to drink.
Type: junmai daiginjo, rice polishing rate: 50%, alc.: 16%
Floral aroma, vanilla, marshmallow and a little bit of savoury aroma.
Flavor feels dry with sharp acidity and bitterness of alcohol. Earthy flavor lingers for a while.
Not too good not too bad. Decent price here in Europe.
A bottle on a business trip to Hokkaido.
Clear and colorless, slightly light viscosity (alc 13-14).
Good aroma, fruity aroma.
First impression is a taste that is new to me. The acidity is a bit strong and the overall taste is refreshing. The umami taste that lingers in the mouth is also impressive.
Amazing Sake Degree -18đł
The lowest sake level I have ever encountered, as far as I can remember.
I thought it would be very sweet, but it wasn't. It was very tasty, with a mild acidity of nigori and a mild aftertaste like amazake, with a mildly sweet aftertaste đđś.
