This is Tamanoi Ginjo. The aroma is rather mellow. The taste is also ginjo, but it is more robust. It is a dry and tasty sake, and I really feel that people in Hida like this kind of sake. I'd rather drink it at room temperature, lukewarm, or even hot, than cold. I feel like there are many sakes that are the same.
Today my family is at a secluded ryokan in Takayama, Wa no Sato. We were given this sake as a free gift for my wife's birthday. It is the sake which is only available in this area. It was delicious.
