★★★★ Usually Machida is special junmai. This is junmai ginjo. The aroma is fruity like Machida, but stronger than usual. Is it because of the name? A little bit bitter from a little bit of gas, just like usual Machida! Yum!

Inexperienced cold and blizzard! I was not sure whether to go for hot sake or nigori sake, but I decided to open this one this time because the image of snowy landscape = nigori sake👍. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was sweet and pure, like a pear. On the palate, there is a sweetness like melon or pear in addition to the carbonation. The clean quality of the Gunma sake is also matched with the local brand name, and I can only think that Machida Shuzo is the quintessential local brewer! When stirred, it becomes more moist without losing any of its freshness, and it's almost like biting into a pear! It is smooth and milky while still giving a fruity and vivid taste. The carbonation also gives it a flavor reminiscent of melon soda or cream soda✨. The first winter in a new place, the strongest cold wave and snowstorm. Life is full of different things, but it only makes me realize that this is a great place to brew sake 🥶.

<Lots of bitter and sweet Alcohol Nice to meet you, Sei嘹san. This is a local brand of Machida Shuzo, which brews "Machida Shuzo". The color is light cloudy. The aroma is nigori bitter, lactic acid and sweet altsun. The mouthfeel is a tangy, bitter acidity. After swallowing, the bitter-sweet aroma is followed by a hint of bitter-sweetness. The aftertaste is also bitter-sweet. There is sweetness, but above all, the bitterness is quite characteristic. And the alky bitter taste is also quite strong! If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, it would be Asbel from "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind". After meeting Nausicaa, he is portrayed as a good guy, but he is also quite belligerent, even dropping Tolmekia's ships with his gunship. It's time for another Maikaze! The first one this year is "Seiryo," where the "ryo" part does not appear in special characters👍. I have had the Machida series from Machida Shuzo before, but this is my first time drinking this brand. That's why my expectations are so high! When I opened the bottle and poured it, I found a deep, sweet and unique aroma like banana and cinnamon. It is already a completely different world from the Machida series, and I am just amazed 😳. In the mouth, it is surprisingly smooth, but the taste and aroma are sweet like chestnuts and bananas and sour like vinegar. The viscosity is reasonable, and overall, the quality of the sake is similar to that of "Tsuchida" and other sake brewed using the traditional sake yeast. In a good way, it went beyond my expectations! The aftertaste disappears easily thanks to the freshness and acidity of the sake. By the way, the mysterious "🦑" sticker is a different kind of sticker for each bottle, and there are various animal stickers on it. This kind of playfulness, including the unique label, is truly typical of the Machida Sake Brewery!

Following on from last year, here we go again this year. This is the Maikaze version of the unfiltered, unpasteurized direct-draft series, and the rice polishing is 60% again this year.The QR code label remains the same, as does the alleged seal, but last year it was a killer whale, and this year a flying fish? I think the taste was the same impression. It is very fresh with a slight effervescence. It is light with a melon-like aroma, but turns bitter in the second half. It is less showy than direct-drafted Omachi or Miyamanishiki, which is probably due to the nature of Maikaze, but it is clean and easy to drink, and I think that the Maikaze goes very well with Machida Shuzo's production.

This is a Kiyo Nishiki from Machida Shuzo, which we bought for home drinking. It's a freshly pressed, unpasteurized Aruzoe. It's not sold in most of Tokyo, but I found it by chance. It's a really great value for money 👍 I'm convinced that a proper aluzoe is delicious. I think I'll go back to buy more. If there are any left...

The spring release was a long-term preservation. QR code on the label. And the alleged seal is Orca? It was ^^; It's a Maikaze version of the very popular Naokumi series. But it is 60% Junmai standard. It's slightly fizzy, melon, and has a strong ramune feeling. It's refreshing and crisp, with a strong bitter aftertaste. When you drink it, it doesn't degrade at all, and it's fresh, but it's somehow off from the current season, or out of season. (I don't blame the sake! It's my responsibility). But I can feel the goodness of the sake well enough. I've been drinking a lot of Maikaze, and I think I'm starting to understand its characteristics, but I think the dominant flavor is the one that is common to Machida Shuzo's sake brewing. It is a modern sake that will appeal to many sake lovers. Even so, compared to other rice varieties, Maikaze seems to have a depth of flavor that is more connoisseur-friendly.

Sake made with rice and yeast from Gunma! This is my second bottle of Maikaze! The aroma is a bit lactic? Mild citrusy image🍊 The taste is refreshing! But The aftertaste is a little salty. If I had to say it, I would say...nuka? lol There's a unique aftertaste! Perhaps it's because of that aftertaste, but for a refreshing entrance I have the impression that the whole thing is thick. Licking a little bit of nuka and pouring it in here is the best way to enjoy it. I think it was the best match among today's ate😋. Ah! The stickers on the label... The stickers on the label seem to be different from each other, with lots of other animals and stuff🎶.
