The third cup of the day was also the first Jikin! The top aroma was sweet, the hint of banana, mild sweetness on the palate, and a lingering sourness that made it easy to drink.

The second cup of the day was a comparison of Hanaohayo's Junmai Daiginjyo Yamadanishiki and Junmai Ginjyo Hachitanishiki. The top aroma was of pineapple, and the hint of pineapple was also strong. It was smooth on the palate, with a hint of sweetness, less bitterness, and a clean, elegant aftertaste than the Junmai-Daiginjo-Hattanishiki.

Drinking alone in Tsunashima Drinking my first Hana-yoku and the pineapple ginjo aroma as rumored. At first, I didn't notice much of the top notes, but as I drank it, I noticed a pineapple-like aroma with a hint of sweetness and a bitter finish that was refreshing.
