I chilled it well in the fridge before drinking it and thought, "Well, it tastes good, but what? Is this what I expected? I thought it was a bit of a disappointment, but then I tried it warmed up, as everyone commented, and was surprised to find that it was the first time I had ever thought heated sake was this good.
I've never thought heated sake was this good. (I usually don't drink heated sake, though.)
I also drank it in small sips over a few days, but as the days went by, the sweetness or mellowness increased in a good way, and it was a bottle that I could enjoy with ease.
