The old sake flavor was too strong for my palate. Too bad.
It had a flavor with a hint of kelp (even though it is from an inland prefecture).

Walking around the city of Hida Takayama 🚶Tour of sake breweries scattered around the city 😆We had a delicious Kamo Nanban🦆 at the Ebisu main store for handmade soba noodles and had a tasting at the nearby Kawajiri Sake Brewery🍶.
Sherry like, sharp, old 2007 sake but not so much aged 🤔. Seems to go well with chocolate. I need some pocky😅.

We went on a trip to Hida Takayama!
At dinner, we first had a bottle of old sake Tenen.
I had never had old sake before, but it seemed quite easy to drink, with a mild flavor and a nice aroma!
I usually only drink cold sake, but sake at room temperature tastes good too!

Purchased at a roadside station on the way from Kanazawa to Takayama. I was thankful that it was a one-pack size for a trial.
It is an old sake with a unique aroma and dry taste. I drank it cold, but thought it would be better hot. I thought it would be better to drink it hot. I prefer it when I drink it hot.
