It has been a long time since I was in Osaka, and I was served Fukuoka sake at Hakata Onna, a favorite restaurant of a friend of mine.
I had never heard of it before, Kansansui.
It is a slightly spicy junmai ginjo with a soft, fruity taste.
This is delicious.
I enjoyed it with Fukuoka's specialty, okkyuto.
60% Yamadanishiki, 40% Gin-no-sato
55% polished
Alcohol content: 14 to 15 degrees Celsius
It is a junmai daiginjo made from Yamadanishiki and Omachi, and it has a beautiful sweetness. It has a clean and crisp finish with a hint of calm umami.
A sake brewery in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
It is very easy to drink and goes down smoothly.
The aroma and flavor are mild,
and umami are mild, and of course, there are almost no off-flavors.
Personal Score 80
Sake you can drink every day 🍶.
I don't get much of a ginjo aroma, but it's a "this is so good!" cup of sake: ☺️
It's like a young, hard pear, but it has a good rice flavor too.
It's great at room temperature and goes with everything 🍶🤤.
