The second drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was my first sake from a brewery.
It was Otokoyama Honten's Kesennuma Otokoyama Nanbu-style dry sake.
Again, the waitress told me that it was not to my liking, but...,
But I took it right away.
First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the traditional sake flavor.
However, it is not only sake-like, but also has a slight sweetness and a complex flavor unique to junmai (pure rice).
The mouthfeel is smooth, and the spiciness finishes it off quickly, so it goes well with food and is very easy to drink.
It was a sake that made me realize that there are many different ways to enjoy sake.
ma-ki-, good evening here too 🌛.
This is a first for me too 😲.
Is it a dry taste that would go well with seafood from Kesennuma?
I missed the season in Corona, but I would love to visit [Fukuyoshi] in Kesennuma someday 😁.
Thank you very much, Gyve, and thank you here as well.
I'm enjoying discovering new things since you've recently stocked a variety of sake that we haven't stocked before 🎵.
Yes, I thought it would go well with seafood since it doesn't emphasize the sweetness 😊.

The brewery is located in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Hitomebore" rice from Miyagi Prefecture is polished to 50%.
Gentle and elegant aroma, soft and rounded
soft and rounded rice flavor, a full-bodied and gentle finish.
A crisp aftertaste.
#Sake
At room temperature.
It's like old-fashioned sake.
It may be dangerous, but it is good for a little sake on a trip.
Rice polishing ratio 70%.
Alcohol 15%.
If you drink it as it is, it has a strange aftertaste that is hard to describe. If you drink it after eating sea squirts, the strange taste disappears and the aftertaste becomes clear and slightly dry. It goes well with sea squirts, just as the description says!
Honjozo 🍶.
Quite refreshing, like water. Dry. Does not get in the way of eating good food. Perfect score as a daily sake 💯.

frankly speaking
Slight aroma, soft attack. The taste is clean and dry. It goes in smoothly and has a good sharpness.
It is a food sake that does not interfere with the flavors of its accompaniments.
