What a surprise, it is a sake made from Koshihikari rice 🌾. The taste of my hometown, Niigata... I wouldn't have recognized it if you hadn't told me... It was clean and slightly dry ⚡. I felt a slight sweetness after 🙆 Enjoyed Ehime's sake after a long time 🎵

Ehime Sake Drinking Comparison. Today, the first drink is from a sake brewery in Nanyo, Uchiko Town, Kita County. The color of the sake is a moderate golden yellow. It does not have much of an upfront aroma, but from the first taste, you can feel the rounded and mellow flavor of the rice, which is a characteristic of hiyaoroshi sake. The taste is clean and refreshing for a sake from Nanyo. The fruity taste is felt down the throat, and ultimately the arrival of autumn can be felt through the sake. Sake meter rating +4

Chiyonokame Junmai Ginjo Natsumase 1681 yen (4-unit bottle) I got into sake when it was new sake, so sake is more of a winter drink than a summer one. I used to avoid sake when it was too hot to drink. But now I can enjoy sake. This summer sake has a normal alcohol content and is better served cold than on the rocks! It's a delicious sake that tastes great and disappears quickly. It was a sake that I can say that sake is also available in summer.

It is still a summer drink. And I mean that in a good way. It has a refreshingly bitter and sour taste. The spiciness comes later. It is perfect for hot weather.

100% local (Ehime Prefecture) Koshihikari rice is used. Junmai Ginjo" specs, although the specific name is not stated. Gorgeous ginjo aroma Firm rice flavor and restrained acidity. The bitter taste that comes afterwards tightens up, and the aroma of rice leaves the nose along with the lingering sweet flavor. The sharpness of the taste and the long aftertaste If classified by aroma, it is a fragrant sake; if classified by taste, it is a mellow sake.

A lightly cloudy sake. The fruity taste that spreads in your mouth and the stimulation of the carbonation are pleasant. Now I've conquered the sake of Ehime Prefecture, and I'm close to conquering the sake of all 48 prefectures.

Ehime Chiyo no Kame Sake Brewery's Risshun Asa Shiburi🌸 I made my own yaki-onigiri (grilled rice balls) and miso soup with Buri (yellowtail) from the Toyama products store. It was my first time to drink it, and it tasted so refreshing.

I bought this daiginjo for Lunar New Year celebration and expected fragrant fruity sake. How wrong I was! Type: junmai daiginjo, polishing rate: 45%, alc.: 16% Aroma is mild and full of rice. I could smell alcohol strongly after opening the bottle. Smell of alcohol is gone on the second day. Flavor is dry and earthy. Not fruity at all. Sweetness of rice and dryness of alcohol. It is thick, oily and viscous. This is not a fragrant daiginjo as I expected. It is ricy and dry. Happy New Year!
