This is my first sake in a while, as I have been biased toward shochu and awamori since the beginning of the year. The rice, called "Izuwanosato" in Yamagata Prefecture, is polished to 60%. The initial aroma is very faint and light. The first sip tasted like a sweet white wine. It was quite tasty. Thank you very much.

Special Junmai 🍶Nakadori unfiltered raw sake✨. Sweet for a moment but the aftertaste is dry. Gentle taste. ☺️ A little grassy. Matches the bitterness of tempura, especially young ayu fish tempura 👍Great with hoya ✨Minshuku Numataya original label is Tsubakijima and Aomatsushima. ⭐︎⭐︎ I was expecting a refreshing summer sake, but it seems that they store sake in a snow cellar and ship it under a different name each season, which is not what I was looking for. If I were to drink it, I'd probably go for the hiyaoroshi (hiyagoshi) autumn treasure.
