Today's bottle.
It has a sweet aroma and a fizzy, melon-like sweetness after drinking, but the fizz is strong, so the mouthfeel is not bad.
The label says it is slightly effervescent, but it may not be...

Sukigokoro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Junmai Ginjo-shu 100% Gohyakumangoku
Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 16%, Sake degree +3.5, Acidity 1.5
This is the fifth sake from Maruman in Matsuyama, Ehime 😊.
It is a light, dry type of sake with just a hint of ginjo aroma and went well with fish dishes 😋.

Ehime Matsuyama Maruman: 20230703
Purchased at a liquor store in Kasuga City
Recommended by the store owner after telling him my preference.
(Just after opening the package)
Drink cold
Clear and colorless
Ginjo aroma similar to melon
Mellow flavor fills the mouth.
Slightly lactic sweet and sour taste.
The lingering finish is long and leaves a refreshing sweetness on the palate.
No dryness is felt.
Quite a tasty sake, just the way I like it!
Surprisingly, it goes better with salted squid than cheese.
Nikomaru is rice rice!
It is said to be a sake brewery that produces only a tiny amount of rice.
I drank a lot that day so I'm a little fuzzy💦.
It was definitely a nigori sake for a mealtime drink: 💁♂️
According to the menu, this one is also H17BY. It was also served warm.
Slightly yellow in color, it has a sweet and umami taste with an elegant and soft matured feel from the 35% polished rice.
6 or 7 years ago? I got hooked on sake after drinking it during a trip to Ehime.... Memories of this sake.
I remember drinking nigori together at that time.
I remember that the nigori sake was so delicious with its petitiveness and acidity.
This time, this sake also had a rich aroma and a strong umami flavor. It was a beautiful sake.
Sukigokoro, you read. Nikomaru rice. It is an edible rice of the Koshihikari family. Its taste is glossy and sticky, with large grains and high yield. It is said to have a high yield. This is my first sake.
The Junmai Daiginjo from Ehime, which we received as the last sake of the day. It has a fruity taste. A very deep daiginjo. Raise the temperature a little. After all, I like this kind of sake. It's delicious. I love it. I tasted it while murmuring.
Today, I enjoyed and admired both the food and the sake.
Yes, sake from Ehime, BEAT's home base. We had it in Osaka. So Shuto Sake Brewery is made by a family of 3 brothers + 1. That's amazing. It's so good! I want to drink it again. I want to drink it again, and this time, I want to take my time and finish the 4-goupe bottle 😄.
Today it is Sukigokoro.
Sake from Ehime. This is the first sake brewery I have ever heard of.
I couldn't read it if it wasn't written in hiragana;
The aroma is sweet like watermelon with a hint of greenness.
When you take a sip, it tastes like Omachi.
This sake has a light and refreshing taste, and while it has the juiciness and bitterness typical of Omachi, it is not harsh and can be enjoyed lightly. Well-balanced and delicious!
This is the first sake I have encountered in a long time when I went to a liquor store with no plan. It was a good encounter ^ ^.
When drunk cold, the aroma is fruity, typical of daiginjo-style sake, but quite subdued.
The color is slightly yellow.
In the mouth, it has a strong flavor for a daiginjo and a slightly unique, hard, richness.
It has a taste similar to that of the old incense found in previous sakes.
The unique richness is contrasted with a short aftertaste with a slight dryness.
I would like to try it at different temperatures, such as hot sake, because I have the impression that Shikoku sake is a unique and interesting brand that I have never had before.
