The rice used is 5 million gokuoku from Shimane Prefecture.
We don't see this small brewery's sake in our area, so I asked the brewery directly, but the only place I could find it was in the Matsue wine shop.
The name "Pacific Ocean" is interesting, even though the Sea of Japan is right in front of us.
Is this amber-colored sake from the San'in region characteristic of the region? It has a sense of maturity and a woody flavor throughout. It is more mature than the other San-in breweries I drank recently. There is little withered taste, but the acidity is assertive.
The back end has a clean, white wine-like flavor and is quite easy to drink. Probably it is better when it is warmed.
But it is difficult to drink it as a food sipper.
It's a unique sake and I'm interested in the other brands. I'm sure I'll have a chance to visit the brewery in the area, so I'd love to stop by.
It is very yellow in color and has a very matured taste. It is naturally rich in flavor and has a softness.
Of course, it is warmed up to make you feel relaxed.
It is also very crisp when served cold, so it is great either way!
This is my first post other than what I drank at home!
I wish it was available in Osaka area..!
It's very deep and spicy, but not too strong and tingling.
It is wonderful when warmed up!
It is a little expensive, but I would love to have it!
