I bought it at another sake brewery when I visited Sawara, Chiba.
It has a refreshing taste. The subtle aroma is perfect with any meal.
It is a good sake. I had it with yellowtail sashimi.
To commemorate my visit to Sawara, a town of waterways, I bought a cup of sake at a roadside station. The iris pattern is a nice touch. It has a round, easy-drinking taste with a Japanese sake-like peculiarity on the palate.
Purchased at a sake brewery in Sawara
It has a slight semedyne aroma.
There is a sharp spiciness to it, but it is rather refreshing. It's also a bit spicy, but not too much. It was perfect for eating😋.
Wish I'd bought it in a quart bottle.
Purchased in July 2021
A cup at room temperature. Mild Cemedine smell. The taste is also mild. If it is classified, it may be slightly mellow. It is similar to Koshikoi. There is no sharp part at all. Direct printing!
The aroma is rich and sweet, like melon.
The taste is like a banana, followed by a heavy Yamadanishiki taste. After that, it becomes a little clearer, but the unique Yamadanishiki flavor remains underneath.
Almost no alcohol is felt.
With air, the banana-ness becomes more pronounced. This is a development that I had not imagined from the melon-like nature of the aroma.
The Yamadanishiki flavor that remains underneath has a slight stickiness to it. It's not sticky, but it's not so sticky that it will disappear over time. It will disappear if you drink some water.
[Summary
This is one of those bottles where you can enjoy the clean Yamadanishiki flavor that is typical of Junmai Daiginjo. It's been a long time since I've had a Daiginjo. If the ratio is 80 to 60, you will get tired of drinking it, and it is not suitable for the hot summer. This is one of the bottles that made me think that Daiginjo sake is good for summer.
p.s. Next time, we'll have a summer sake.
