Today I received a gift of sake called Kansai 😀 This is a brand I have never heard of before 😊It seems to be a popular sake often drunk in Fukui. When I drank it, I found it to be a strong style of traditional sake 😚 with a good balance of flavor, sweetness, and bitterness, and it was thick 🥰It was like an all-purpose sake 🤤.
Good evening Takeshon 🌃😀 Thanks for the invite 😀 I'd love to join the remote drinking party 🍶 my work schedule looks good so far 😊 now it depends on the mood of my aging communication equipment 😭
This sake is from Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture.
Purchased at Mitsuwa in Ono when returning home.
I am in Kansai, but it is Hokuriku sake.
I am drinking this Hokuriku sake in Kansai (Hyogo Prefecture) right now (so what).
It has a broad sweetness that flows gently into the mouth.
The spiciness comes afterwards.
It has a nostalgic taste, like the sake you drink at a Shinto shrine on New Year's Day.
It is like a local sake.
How about if you warm it up?
The spiciness becomes stronger. The spiciness is a little hard and flows through at a very fast pace. It seems to wash away the aftertaste of the snacks and reset the taste.
